About AVRaidRestore
This is a very simple addons for AV(/WSG/EOTS/AB/SOTA) Groups.
You save your raid with a macro:
/script AVRaidSave() - Also bindable to a key through the ingame keybindings menu
Now it scans the raid and saves who is in which group If you are in the BG and are the Raidleader, use macro with:
/script AVRaidRestore() - Also bindable to a key through the ingame keybindings menu
It now exchanges people in the raid, trying to accomplish the previous raidsetup, but will most certainly not go perfect on the first time. Just wait one second, hit the macro again, until nothing is changed in the raidroster.

Well, that would need some kind of templates for the raidgroup, or a set of rules which class goes in to which group. But, as you say, av groups change quite often over the day, so the classdistribution can be anything, from up to 8+ shamans, or just one, even none. And this rulesets have to be editable, as every group would do it a little bit different.
The easiest way is to have the guy with that addon given assist outside the battleground and have him arranging the raidgrps, so he knows when it's done and can hit the 'Save'-macro afterwards.
Since AV groups tend to change each run, can you make it so this looks at a class and moves approriately? For example:
One strategy for horde is to have group 7 and 8 go after Bal with only ranged (hunter and lock specifically). Could you have some type of screen that would use to setup what each group would look like and the addon would do it's best to put those groups together. I'm not looking for comments on why would we do a strategy this way..it's just an example and one of MANY ways a Horde AV group runs.
Thanks,
-Ren
Well, in fact it just puts everyone it knows (from saving) into their corresponding groups, so it will also work in WSG/AB/EOS.
does this work with other BG's as well?
