good addon love it just to bad it make me DC alot hadeto remove it to stop my DC all time >.<
Lately a LOT of my guild members have been making these rediculous macros that take up nearly the whole 255 character limit along with raid icons JUST to say grats on EVERY achivement. [Can I Keep Him?] boom macro, [Level 10] boom macro, [You Logged Into WoW] boom macro . . . it has gotten to the point where I am starting to put people on ignore and I don't like having to do that just because they think it's important to interrupt a conversation with a macro a mile long and laced with eye jarring icons.
I keep getting this error:

Please help?
Delete SpamMeNot.
Have had two gold sellers get through today, both have alot of "@" at beginning and end.
Also seeing spammers getting through lately using extended characters. Should be easy to fix by running them through a filter to convert to 'regular' english characters before running the spam check?
Some gold sellers have gotten around this addon, by using special characters when advertising; such as salê or gôld etc etc.
Is it possible to update this addon to include combinations which include special characters as well?
Just a quick note to say I love you addon, but also that it appears a small group has gotten around a few matches by adding diacritial marks to their advertisements.
I fixed it on my end with a small kludge that did some basic replacing and through you might like this map if you ever think about adding something similar: http://dev.alt.textdrive.com/browser/lu/LUStringBasicLatin.txt
Since patch 4.3 I had to turn off the Spam Filter (not the mature content filter) everytime I relogged. I now found out, that BadBoy is the culprit. I had to disable that addon, since it doesn't have an option to turn that behaviour off.
Can anyone tell me what went wrong?
BadBoy forces the Blizzard spam filter on so people don't report "missed spam" that would have been caught by Blizzard's spam filter, this is by design. There is absolutely 0 reason to have the spam filter off.
Has nothing to do with the mature language filter.
I post urls just fine with the spam option on. The Blizzard spam filter does nothing to urls. It's only function is to prevent repeated chat lines, such as emote spam from the opposing faction or if some idiot in say or yell repeats the same thing over and over again.
Oh, as for "dictating what settings are good for me and which aren't" The spam filter should be a permanent function of the game, not a checkbox. Now if BadBoy forced the mature filter on, yea, I'll delete it.
To post it to who? 0.01% of people that turn it off? It's on by default...
Posting URL's has always worked fine for me with the filter on. BadBoy will stay as it is.
I never said, that this has something to do with the mature content filter, actually I said the opposite.
And second: I DO have a reason to turn blizzards Spam Filter OFF so it lets me post URLs for example. So please add an option to disable that behaviour. I'll leave BadBoy disabled, because I don't want an addon to dictate me, what settings are good for me an which aren't.
Hey folks, shameless advert! If you feel like trying a new chat addon, give BasicChatMods a try and tell me what you think of it (on its page) http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/basic-chat-mods I'd be interested in hearing more opinions.
Something seems to be wrong with curse concerning BadBoy: as of yesterday, the search can't find it, it isn't displayed within my favorites (although it is still marked as such) and it even is not listed as a work of funkydude (http://www.curse.com/users/funkydude/projects).
Is it just on my account or is it for everyone on curse like this?
