    Does this addon scan public channels outside of General and Trade? I saw one or two guild adverts in trade chat forwarded by the TradeForwarder addon. If BadBoy is supposed to work on custom channels also, I will be sure to write down the exact text next time.

    No, it skips custom channels.

    As of v2.5 the whisper blocking option is character specific not account specific and has reset back to being turned off.

    You're not using the latest version of BadBoy, you need at least v9.

    Cheers, Curse didn't post v9 of BadBoy until 12 hours after I installed that version of "Guilded".

    Added option to block guild invites (relay for Blizz option)

    Hi. I'd like to add my thanks to those posted below. Your add on certainly goes a long way to clobbering a lot of the idiot chatter in the various WoW public channels. I'd like to echo the request of an earlier poster, whispered guild invites are now proving to be a significant distraction to me when playing. Half way though a boss fight, two "join my guild" whispers. Is suspect that this will be a hard thing to do, how do you differentiate from legitimate mentions of guild in person to person whispers (for me it's easy, I refuse to have any of my alts in a guild).

    BTW, it seems that the whispers are often being generated by WoW macros deliberately created for the job. So I figure some guilds require (or exhort) their members to install and run the damn things. I'd suggest that these guilds be universally boycotted; perhaps a tool that recognises whispers from members of guilds on an ignore list would be a half way decent solution.

    Enough waffle from me, many thanks for your spam killing efforts.

    does this addon also report people who spam guild recruitment or at least have the option to enable reporting?

    No, I was considering it when they added the LFGuild tool but so many people still spam chat that it wouldn't be practical. Hopefully in future the tool will become more popular and chat adverts will be so rare that reporting them can be justified, or at least confirmed justified by a blue post.

    I wish you did cause on my realm (Draenor EU) ppl are pushing their advertisement with more than 1 of their chars and in some guild's cases with more than 1 member at the same time doing it from more than 1 char. It really sux tbh, blizz has given them such an excellent tool and the good raid guilds don't advertise on trade at all.
