About BadKitty

BadKitty is a debuff tracker for Feral Druids. Originally designed to accurately track Mangle's remaining time regardless of how many Ferals or Arms Warriors were in the raid, it has grown to track all buffs, debuffs, and cooldowns important to every cat (and bear) who cares about their damage output.

Savage Roar, Mangle (Trauma included), Faerie Fire, Rip, Rake, Tiger's Fury, Berserk, Glyph of Shred charges, Omen of Clarity, Predator's Swiftness, Demoralizing Roar (Demo Shout, CoW, Vindication included), Lacerate, Thrash, Pulverize, and Barkskin are all tracked and take into account any overlapping debuffs that may exist in your group or raid.

In both Cat and Bear Forms, two options are available for you. A small bar frame akin to many simliar mods, and a unique 'warning' frame that displays on your screen images of any buff or debuff that will soon need your attention. These two options can be used independently or simultaneously. Color, texture, and opacity options are available for these as well.

If you have any errors, questions, comments, or suggestions, put them in the comments here, or come bug me on Gul'dan (look for Anatinus). I try to improve BadKitty when I can, so your words will not fall on deaf ears. Happy Shredding!

Fixed the warning shape/direction slider and radio buttons.

Very very appreciated that you update the addon!

Will it be possible to get the same layout and functionality as in 1.11.2 ? I really liked how the bars didnt fade out when the dots were off, and the energy/cp bars.

It's by far the best feral addon i've ever used.
  • #631
All that is coming back. Patience ;)
  • #629
Would just like to thank you for continuing to update this addon, it is definitely a raiding staple for me.
  • #627
Is there anyway to change/lock the order of the bars and to change the height of them? Also, it would be nice to have the bars show a static length so that its easier to tell how long is left with each bar instead of them depreciating at different rates.
  • #628
Right now; no, no, and no. But bar height and non-scaling length were options in previous versions, so those are definitely going to be put back in.

Most of the code is also in place to have a static bar order, the control just isn't there yet. That will be put in, too.

All 3 of those things are on my stuff-that-needs-to-get-done shortlist, so they'll be in soon hopefully.

Go Go Gadget Kitty DPS! I've been waiting on the bars as that is all I've grown accustom to and love them. Thanks!

There's another update working its way through the bowels of Curse.

Fixed the bars. Added a few options. You can change the warning size, warning text size, bar width, and choose to hide certain spells from the bars.

Things that don't work still but are next on the list:
    -Ravage/Stampede awareness
    -Shred Glyph
    -Warning layout/order
    -bar texture/color adjustment
    -Bear form
    -combo point display
    -any other options I forgot

If the file doesn't show up on Curse right away, go here for it:

    Now, I must sleep.

    Thank you very much!
For realising combos in future can you please add 4 separators which will divide combo bar into 5 equal areas? When no combos gained - those 5 cells are void and transparent. each gained combo makes cell colored to yellow, and when all 5 combos gained - all cell are red. It will very helpful to see and visually count combos in melee fighting. I use now another addon which draws squares depending how many combos gained - it is more useful than only just a one solid bar with no separation into 5 cells.
  • #625
I'll keep that in mind. The way the bars work now, a regular bar for CPs would feel clunky, anyways.
  • #621
Thank you very much for the awesome work you've been doing for us, MeisBarry.
Your addon was on my essentials list for a lot of time!

If I can be a little greedy, I would also like to ask for a new functionality, but if you can't do it I'm perfectly fine too.
Do you think you would you be able to add a counter on Rip's Shred count? Like, a little number on it's corner stating how many shreds we have used on it?

Sometimes, on heavily movemented fights I find myself wondering if I have already shredded my Rip. It would be a very nice addition IMO.

    Thank you in advance!

All of the recentish versions up until 2.0 had that, actually. It had a separate warning. It'll be there, I just haven't put it back in yet.
  • #620
I realize a lot of people are having issues with 2.0.0. I'll be pushing out a new one tonight that works better and actually has some adjustable things :P

    I appreciate the patience.

    And yes Hemo is watched.
  • #619
Please add Rogue Hemo to the watch list.

It's great I can see if a Warrior or Druid has the bleed buff up but I need to also be able to tell when a Rogue has it up for the same reason.
  • #618
Warnings are working but bars rarely show up.
  • #617
No idea if I'm getting an addon conflict or not, but i'm noticing what looked like memory leakage with the 2.0.0 version. It jumped up to around 4 meg or so while doing some bear testing before I logged out and disabled it.

Related to that, Swipe(Bear Form) GetSpellCooldown logic is screwed up. As far as I can tell, you have to call it with "Swipe(Bear Form)" or the spellID (779) and have to call it twice. The first time returns the GCD, the second time returns the actual duration (6s).
