Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.

Q: Can Bartender4 import settings from Bartender3?
A: No. Those two mods are too different to be able to import settings.

Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: BT3 Keybindings will not be ported over either, you have to use the new KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!

Q: CyCircled Support? I like my button skins? :(
A: No reason to cry! There is a sparkling new skinning addon/library out there! ButtonFacade is way easier to work with as a action-bar author, and its easier to write skins for it too! Alot of cyCircled Skins have already been ported to ButtonFacade, and more are on their way! After installing ButtonFacade just use its configuration to change the skin of the BT4 buttons (/bf)

Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

HI there thanks for this great addon... as of 4.0.6 patch the Micro Menu bar is disappearing when my toon dies n i enter the instance or when i use a bliz vehicle or when on a load screen. When i Hearth the bar is still there but other times as mentioned it will disappear once the load screen is finished or i am off the bliz vehicle. the only way to get it back is to /reload ui this will bring it back til the next time. Also the bags are covering the bartender action bars i have placed on the far right of my screen. But the most important issue is the Micro Menu Bar. Could you please look at this n try to fix it? Thanks =)

Microbar disappearing on all my toons i use it on :( Quick fix /reload but I gotta do it a lot.
Please fix, the only addon I use on ALL toons no matter what lvl and class.

having the same problem with the microbar, but not on my sham, rogue or mage... just the priest

Another person with their microbar disappearing.

Feature request: Buttons that are only visible when the action is *not* available. (Vice versa would probably be useful too.) That way I can use a big transparent click-through bar as an indicator of which actions are on cooldown, but not have it clutter the screen when things are ready. "In combat" doesn't really cut it. Thanks!

=/ Is there a way to have bar 1 only scroll between bar 1 and 2? Kinda annoying that is scrolls between all of them.
  • #3567
Is there any way to disable the glowing yellow proc hilight around buttons, without disabling the centre screen aura queues? The button hilighting annoys the s*** out of me...
  • #3564
Perhaps an odd question ... is there any way to turn OFF the dual-spec capability of Bartender? I'm a warrior that is fine using the stance capability and want to avoid re-populating and keeping-in-sync 10 action bars for my Prot and Fury spec.

Is it possible to turn OFF the dual-spec capability?
  • #3565
To my knowledge Bartender references the blizzard bars since blizzard changes that information when you change specs so does bartender.

I like my interface to be fairly consistant from one spec to the other. What I do when I've made changes to one spec that aren't so easy to remember I'll take a screenshot so when I switch I have a reference and can synch them up quickly.
