FAQ
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bar) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Can Bartender4 import settings from Bartender3?
A: No. Those two mods are too different to be able to import settings.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: BT3 Keybindings will not be ported over either, you have to use the new KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: CyCircled Support? I like my button skins? :(
A: No reason to cry! There is a sparkling new skinning addon/library out there! ButtonFacade is way easier to work with as a action-bar author, and its easier to write skins for it too! Alot of cyCircled Skins have already been ported to ButtonFacade, and more are on their way! After installing ButtonFacade just use its configuration to change the skin of the BT4 buttons (/bf)
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

Hi love the addon, just a question, would it be possible for you to add to the Profile Saves to also save the Keybinds? Like I know you can save the positioning of all your bars, but I want to save the keybinds as well, for all my alts. If that is possible to do already, let me know how, and if not please please please try to add that option.
Currently on Beta, the stance bar and the micro menu are inoperable. I cannot get them to appear :/
Hey guys. What about countdown on icons? :) for spells like DK - Scent of Blood, or generally for spells which stacked. Like on original bars, but who wanna use blizzard bars :D
Thanks.
Hi all
Anyone else having BT4 NOT show the PlayerPowerBarAlt frame? This is the one that pops when you have to use the Hourglass in EndTime? Also it shows for Maw of Madness in Twilight Highlights for Digestive Juices?
Thanks
Everytime I'm on my Rogue in stealth and attack, my first four spells on my first bar show but all others don't until I move a spell on the bar. Also, when I leave a BG, my micro bar always disappears. I've looked all over the Internet for a possible solution but could not find one. What could the problem be?
Hi, why i can se the keybinding on my spell? Exemple I putt keybinding Shift-r to Evasion spell
when i active bartender 4 the keybinding ON my spell is not there ... Thanks you!
Hey just a question mate. is it posible to get a fu extra action bars. cos then it wil be easyer for druid shapeshifting tbh :D
I have the same problem as Olvado:
My keybind info is above the bars, with macro text and reagent numbers below. I'm using the NotCaith skin (from Degausser's pack, long time ago)... I'm not very addon-savvy, so I'm not sure if it's something you can fix from your end, or something that has to be fixed with skin. I don't even know how to go about fixing the skin, or if that skin is even still supported anywhere >>
The other skins, Blizzard, Zoom, and Dream, are all fine.

I have Masque and bartender, and when I logged in yesterday after I updated to the Alpha (with improved Masque support) some of my keybind text was above and macro text was below the buttons, I forgot about the Masque support so I reinstalled to the beta version that will hopefully fix it, if not, I'll see what I can do in Masque.
EDIT: It is still like that in the beta version, but it reverts to normal when I disable my Masque skin; CleanUI Black, I tried it with the other skins I have installed (the rest of the CleanUI set, Zoomed, and Dream and of course, Blizzard) and only the CleanUI set had this bug, I'll report this on the Masque/CleanUI Masque page.

is there a way to have the bars always shown, instead of just the buttons with a spell or other ability on it?
I will assume that all those who are experiencing problems with Bartender not saving options are using a Windows Vista or 7 based OS. There is a few options to fix this problem.
1) Try running WoW.exe as administrator.
2) Changing folder permissions. ***
*** NOTICE: This method if not used correctly could have severe consequences, so please use this only if you know what you are doing.
Given the complexity of this method please read File and Folder Permissions.
There is a Sticky thread on the World of Warcraft Fourms that cover this too. FAQ: Installing & Troubleshooting AddOns
