  • StickyFrames support
  • Masque/ButtonFacade support!
  • Easy Hotkey Binding using KeyBound
  • Options to control the hiding of the default blizzard artwork (you might still want that to be displayed..)

Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.

Q: Can Bartender4 import settings from Bartender3?
A: No. Those two mods are too different to be able to import settings.

Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: BT3 Keybindings will not be ported over either, you have to use the new KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!

Q: CyCircled Support? I like my button skins? :(
A: No reason to cry! There is a sparkling new skinning addon/library out there! ButtonFacade is way easier to work with as a action-bar author, and its easier to write skins for it too! Alot of cyCircled Skins have already been ported to ButtonFacade, and more are on their way! After installing ButtonFacade just use its configuration to change the skin of the BT4 buttons (/bf)

Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

I have having issues trying to figure out how to add another slot for the pet bar.  If someone could please help that'd be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

  • #5424

Does this addon have the ability to move the ammo bar e.g. for missions like Assault on the Pit ?

  • #5427

To move things around just use MoveAnyting, it will let you do pretty much anything you want with your UI :)

  • #5423

I turned off enhanced tooltips ONLY in combat some how. Now, I can't find it to turn it back on. Is this part of this addon? If so, how to I disable this? Thanks

  • #5421

When I change talents in arena, the new one shows on the bar, but when using it I get the error message "Spell not learned". After dragging it from the talents window to the bar, replacing the already new talent icon, it works. When using Blizz bars I do not need to drag it on my bar.

Sounds like a bug to me. If I am wrong, please enlighten me.

  • #5429

i don't know if this is the same problem but i got that message only the first times i tried to use the lvl 90 talents CARRIED OVER from mists. once i put the new ones on the bar i didn't have that problem.

I'm having an issue with my bartneder. Everytime I re-size my screen, the actionbars do not scale with the window. How do i fix this?

  • #5419

Great addon, been using it for years.

I have recently been getting the following error.

    Date: 2015-01-05 06:58:48
    ID: 1
    Error occured in: Global
    Count: 1
    Message: ..\AddOns\Bartender4\locale\koKR.lua line 1:
       '=' expected near 'input'

    Any ideas?

Why do some of my bars copy other bars?

    I have the same question

    Having two issues with BT:

    1) In terms of displaying the keybind, the bars don't read my keybinds that are setup in the default wow windows - is there a way to do this so I don't have to setup keybinds all the time? I have everything setup perfectly with the default keybinds but I can't get the shortcut keys to actually display on BT unless I use BT to edit keybinds.

    2) My bar 1 has started randomly disappearing.  It seems to be related to a state or stance configuration but the settings perfectly mirror other buttons yet it reacts different.  On my paladin, it started disappearing when i changed glyphs - I noticed it came back when I put  my seal back on.  On my mage, it's just gone and won't come back.  I can see it if I unlock and the buttons still react, it's just hidden.   I don't know how to fix this or what went wrong.  Not getting any LUA errors but it started in an arena, happened again in a raid, and just now on mage while out in the wilds.  Edit:  I found the stance option - it only appears if you're logged into a character with a stance, so you have to swap characters to fix it.

Hello. I have a problem with Bartender recently. RALT occasionally (rather often) stops working as modifier of self-cast on main bar only (bar #1), yet it works perfectly fine on any other bar. Like ability on main bar, hotkeyed to 9. RALT+9 - will work sometimes, but usually wont. LALT + 9 will work 100% time. No conflicting keybindings. Checked full main bar (moved ability to each slot and tested). Bar #6, hotkeyed to Shift+Q for example - works always with RALT. LALT seems to work always on any bar. Having bartender disabled I wasn't able to reproduce RALT behavior.

Could you take a look into that? I have automatic selfcasts disabled, and ALT button as a modifier for self-casting set in Blizzard settings.

I am having a problem with my profiles carrying over with each log out session.

Each time that I log back on, I have to go under Profiles and select the current character profiles rather than it loading automatically. It is really annoying when bouncing between characters, that I have to keep re-selecting the bar profiles.

Not sure if the data is being saved properly, and this started happening as of Monday (Dec 29).

I am having the same problem but only on a few characters....wonder if its a setting that I'm overlooking?
