About Baud Manifest
Summary
With Baud Manifest, you can browse your inventory as a list, instead of the standard bag layout. Categories can be created to organize the list, allowing you to place items as well as other categories within them. Categories can be expanded to view the contents, or minimized to save visual space. The item list can be also sorted or filtered to help you find items. You can also view manifests of other characters, aswell as a combined list of all your characters' manifests.
Using Baud Manifest
After you've installed Baud Manifest, you can access your manifest simply by opening your backpack. You'll probably want to organize it a bit with categories, so it's easier to manage. The easiest way to get started with this is to let Baud Manifest categorize your items based on their item types. To do this, click on the down arrow in the upper right corner of the display, and select "Categorize by Type" from the menu that appears.
Categories
To create a category, click the down arrow in the upper right corner of the display, and click on Create Category. To rename a category, right click on it and type in a name. To delete a category, drag it out of the display and click on the game world, in much the same way you would delete an item.
Moving Items
When you drag an item in Baud Manifest, the largest available stack will be picked up. To select the amount of an item to move, shift-click or shift-drag the item, and select the amount you want to move (Can be more than one stack). To pickup the smallest stack on your character, ctrl-drag the item. To pickup one of the item, alt-drag it. To move all stacks of an item, shift-ctrl-drag the item.
Using the Standard Bag Interface
You can also access the standard bag interface by using the Open All Bags key, using the bag buttons in the manifest, or by disabling the "Replace Blizzard's Bags" option.

I'm not sure if this is an oft-requested feature, but is it possible to export/import a kind of sort string so I can standardize my categories across all my characters? Something akin to profiles, maybe.
Thank you so much for this add-on! It's easily one of my favorites.
Thank you for making this addon. I have wanted an addon like this. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
I believe I have discovered the solution to the problem I and others are having that is preventing us from dragging items in Baud Manifest. After disabling all addons except Baud Manifest and deleting the Cache and WTF folders, it was still happening only on specific toons, but then the error message pointed to specific item names, which enabled me to narrow it down to battle pets. I mailed all that character's caged pets to an alt, and suddenly I could drag items in Baud Manifest again. After retreiving the caged pets from the alt's mailbox, the alt was unable to drag items. After mailing them away, the alt was once again able to drag items. I don't know if this can be fixed, but my workaround has simply been to keep all my caged pets on an alt I don't play.
TL;DR: You will be unable to drag items in Baud Manifest if you have any battle pets in that character's inventory.
OK, that makes a lot of sense, and explains why I couldn't get a local repro. I'll take a look and see if I can find the issue.
I have continued messing around with in-game options trying to discover the cause of the "can't drag anything--have to click it to pick it up and click it again to place it" problem I mentioned in my previous post, and I turned on "Display LUA Errors". When trying to drag something in BaudManifest, I get this error (though, as I mentioned before, this bug only occurs on one or two of my characters, the others can drag items just fine):
Message: Interface\AddOns\BaudManifest\BaudManifest.lua:185: attempt to compare nil with number

I love this so much. I am having a weird issue though.
When i try and rename a category, every time i go to type in the name it seems to ESC out and I can't type in the words. It then interacts as if the letters were normal hotkeys. What am i doing wrong?
I had this happen a few times on the beta, but it went away on its own. I'm wondering if there's another interfering addon -- can you see if it still happens even if Baud Manifest is the only active addon?
I deactivated everything, and it still does that...I even closed every other app in my hotbar. It is really killing me here. Is there some kind of log I can post or send you? This is literally my favorite addon right now...
I'm having a couple of odd problems with this addon. I have it enabled on all my characters, and all configuration settings are the same on all of them. On almost all of them it works perfectly. However, on one character I am unable to drag items (e.g. into or out of a folder, higher or lower in a list, etc.); instead, I have to actually click the item to pick it up, then click again to put it in the destination. On another charater, when I right-click to rename a folder it will almost immediately (generally between 0.2 and 2 seconds) act as though I have hit the ESC key, erasing what I have typed and reverting the folder to its original name, making it all but impossible to rename anything.
If anyone has any idea why these things are happening and what can be done to fix them, it would be greatly appreciated.
I saw this on beta a few times while I was working on this version, but the issue went away. Does it still happen for you even if Baud Manifest is the only active addon?
Sorry about the delay. Yes, I just tested this. Even when there are no addons enabled except Baud Manifest, I still encounter this problem.
After putting items in my reagent bank it doesn't remember what catagory they belong in my main bag when I loot more of them, so they just get uncatagorised. Is this fixable?
I haven't been able to reproduce this. I can deposit, e.g. work order results, and then when I pick up orders the next day, the items go in the proper folder. Does it still happen even if Baud Manifest is the only active addon?
I rolled a new death knight and went to create some custom categories in his bags. Only everytime I hit a button that corresponded to my kebindings, it would activate the keybind, instead of typing in the name like normal. My mage in the shrine was able to edit category names just fine. But my brand new death knight (pre Light's Hope) isn't able to.
