About Baud Manifest

With Baud Manifest, you can browse your inventory as a list, instead of the standard bag layout. Categories can be created to organize the list, allowing you to place items as well as other categories within them. Categories can be expanded to view the contents, or minimized to save visual space. The item list can be also sorted or filtered to help you find items. You can also view manifests of other characters, aswell as a combined list of all your characters' manifests.

Using Baud Manifest

After you've installed Baud Manifest, you can access your manifest simply by opening your backpack. You'll probably want to organize it a bit with categories, so it's easier to manage. The easiest way to get started with this is to let Baud Manifest categorize your items based on their item types. To do this, click on the down arrow in the upper right corner of the display, and select "Categorize by Type" from the menu that appears.

To create a category, click the down arrow in the upper right corner of the display, and click on Create Category. To rename a category, right click on it and type in a name. To delete a category, drag it out of the display and click on the game world, in much the same way you would delete an item.

Moving Items

When you drag an item in Baud Manifest, the largest available stack will be picked up. To select the amount of an item to move, shift-click or shift-drag the item, and select the amount you want to move (Can be more than one stack). To pickup the smallest stack on your character, ctrl-drag the item. To pickup one of the item, alt-drag it. To move all stacks of an item, shift-ctrl-drag the item.

Using the Standard Bag Interface

You can also access the standard bag interface by using the Open All Bags key, using the bag buttons in the manifest, or by disabling the "Replace Blizzard's Bags" option.

  • Fixed a bug that was preventing certain kinds of items from stacking in the manifest.

Heya, not sure if you were aware, but since official MoP launch, the addons got a teensy problem.  When you cage a pet from your pet journal, and it becomes a BoE clickable pet once again in your bag, they seem to vanish and not show up at all anywhere in any of the categories for Baud Manifest.  When I turn off the addon, they are right there in the default inventory, in whatever bag had the free space to hold them. Just thought that ya might wanna see if that was a fixable thing w/the addon, or a boo-boo on Blizz's end.  Ty! Love this addon to death.

1.71 will add basic support for caged pets (should be available in a few hours). It turns out that they're completely different from items under the hood, so everything needs to be redone for them. For now, the main thing will be that you won't see a tooltip for the caged pet in the manifest, but you can at least see it and move it around.

I'm new to Baud Manifest, but I can tell you I LOVE it.  That doesn't mean it's absolutely perfect, but it's the closest thing i've found for what I want to do -- so, THANK YOU Baudzilla and Erstyx!

    A few questions/comments:

    1. I use ArkInventory as my main bag mod.  I'm able to get BaudManifest to open automatically only at Mailbox, Vendor, and Bank.  When I just open my backpack, it does not display.  Can you think of anything that might be preventing that from happening?
    2. I, like several others, would love to be able to create categories and share them either via a profile or exporting/importing.
    3.  Would you ever consider creating an export of the categorized items?  I would really like to work with this offline to take a look at all of the stuff I've hung onto over the years.  I'm thinking that if I was able to get it into Excel, I could possible have it create a hyperlink to WowHead or some other online item database to give me a change to look at and/or research the items.
    4. Have you considered implementing a <right-click> on a Category and allowing us to create a sub-category from there?  I know I can drag and drop a category on top of another category to get the same results, but it would be faster sometimes to just create the sub-category exactly where I want it.
    5. When moving items from bank to bags and vice versa or when a new item is added to inventory from say a drop or mailbox or vendor, could the category(ies) receiving the new item(s) be "highlighted" in some way?  Either bold the category text or add an asterick to the front of the category text?  Just something so we know where new items ended up.

Here's an example:  I've created categories in both my inventory and bank box lists.  I have an item "Blackened Urn" in my bank box list categorized as a "Special Item".  I move it to my Inventory (which also has a "Special Item" category) and the "Blackened Urn" goes to my "Grey & White" (new) category.  Since it was already categorized as "Special Item" in my bank box, I expected it to go the the "Special Item" category in my Inventory list.  If I move it back to my bank box, it goes back to the "Special Item" category.  If I move a new item from my inventory to my bank box, it doesn't get sorted into my "new categories", but instead shows up at the bottom of the list as if uncategorized.  If I already have one of the items in my bank box, subsequent additions to my bank box from my inventory will put the addition in the same category as the existing ones in the bank box -- i.e. "Moonglow Ink" is categorized in my bank box as Inscription so when I transfer more "Moonglow Ink" from my inventory to my bank box all of the "Moonglow Ink" shows up in Inscription.

I hope this is making sense.   Undecided
    6. Would it be possible to allow the "sorting" to be within Categories?  For example, I have lots of items in the Armor category and would like to be able to see that list either alphabetically, or by rarity without loosing the category grouping.
    7. Would you consider adding Item Level and either Soulbound or BOE indication as sorts?

Once again, thanks for a great mod.  Cool

Is it possible to have a default "Tabards" category?  I've made a custom Tabards category and have dragged my Tabards into it.  However, it'd be nice for this to be part of the addon and default sort the tabards in this way.  Especially since when I get a new tabard or move them back and forth between my bags and bank, the tabards end up back in the "Armor" category.

I don't have a lot of time to spend on this, and it tends to go more toward keeping things working than to adding new features. But that said, feel free to add feature requests on CurseForge (one item per feature), and you never know...

Yay!! Ty for the update!! Much appreciated, love your addon to death! /hugs

  • #291

for some reason, stackable items that used to list as 1 line, w/the total # of items in parentheses on the right, arent stacking like they used to. So for example, instead of 1 line stating i have 54 spirit dust, there are 2 lines of saying '20 spirit dust' each and 1 with 4 spirit dust, all listed separately.  Is there an option to fix that other than the usual one in the options GUI, or is this a bug w/the beta version?

  • #293

I would like to know this as well.

  • #297

    Still see multiple stacks.

But your addon is so fantastic that I will keep using it anyway.  Great work and thank you.

  • #296

This issue is now fixed for me.  Thanks so much!

  • #295

This should be fixed in the current version. Are you still seeing non-merged stacks?

  • #290

If anyone's playing on beta or PTR, I've uploaded a beta version; try it out and let me know if you have any problems.

    Re: Baud Manifest 411 Error

I've been getting the following error upon loading any character. It's been going on for a while now. I saw that someone had posted in December 2011 about this error, but I didn't see any responses to it. If I reload my screen, after receiving the error, everything seems to be fine. If I do not reload my screen, I cannot take just a portion of a stack of items (for example, a stack of 20 and try to only take 5), nor can I right click on that item to send it via mail.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yeah, I see that as well from time to time; unfortunately, it's a bit of a mystery...
