Does it work for Battlenet whispers?  Is there any configuration that needs to be done to make it work?  I've been using it for a while and apparently people who whisper me don't receive the auto reply.  :(  I use it with BigWigs and LittleWigs.

Is there any documtentation or a slash command list?  I see options you added in the comments but the only reference to them I can find is by JTF.

Do you think you could add a filter so BigWigs_AutoReply won't reply to oQueue sync whispers?

I hate the fact that I'm constantly spamming my oQueue friends when I'm in boss encounters.

  • #12

What is the message you're looking for it to ignore? I don't use oQueue myself, but if I know the message I can add that to 1.08.

  • #21

I'll see if I can find some people to help me test that.

  • #20

I'll have to download oQueue and take a look. No ETA on a fix at the moment, hopefully by 5.4. In the mean time, does the reply to oQ still occur when filtering is on?

  • #19

BW_AR is definitely still replying to OQ whispers. I tested it today in LFR, and as soon as the fight started, BW_AR sent out boss notifications to about 7 other oqueue users. (And then ironically, one of them running DBM auto-replied to my BW_AR whisper :P)

I have the "/bwar filter" option turned off. Is there some other setting I need to have turned on?

Edit: I can't really do anything to capture the exact strings oQueue is sending, because it automatically hides the whispers, and it signals other users to stop syncing on logout and reloadui.

I've tried manually setting my Battle.net broadcast to "(OQ)" but other users don't appear to begin syncing unless an additional command is sent by the addon (which is hidden, of course)

They should be completely independent. I'll take a look and see if I can reproduce the problem.

Edit: I still don't have OQueue, but I tested receiving whispers containing the phrase 'OQ,' during boss encounters and they were ignored with filtering both on and off. I also went through the code themselves and they are entirely seperate. Is it possible that the OQ messages that were broadcast did not contain 'OQ,'? If you can link to a screenshot of this happening I can try and reproduce the exact issue.

    Is this option tied to

    "/bwar filter"?

I like having the filter turned off so I can see my incoming and outgoing whispers, but it seems as though it is sending autoreplies in response to oQueue sync whispers I recieve when I have it off.

in the next version there is an option to ignore messages containing certain strings. As long as all the sync messages contain 'OQ,' it should work fine. 1.09 should be on Curse by the end of the weekend.

Forgot '==nil' in my if statement, but still not working : /

EDIT: herp derp, should be ~= nil

OQ sends messages that are typically hidden to the user, and from what I recall, they always start with the letters OQ (in all caps).

My lua is very novice, and I was trying to add something like follows, but it wasn't working:

if string.find(msg, "OQ") then return end

    Hi. A request;

Would like to be able to see how many raiders are alive in the message, just like how DBM's reply works. Thank you!

Should be simple enough - I will add an option for it in the next version.
