Now Bison use the same method like other addons by hijacking the Blizzard buff and debuff elements. So the cancel buff works well on these version.

I loved the addon SurgeTrack, but its dead. So I start my own surge bar :). I can not play all classes, so I inserted a limited count of temporary buffs. Blizzard show some of these as auras around the avatar. You can enable the spell id's on the buff bar, to find the id's of missing buffs (I need your help).

knowing addons with modules hiding buff frames
You should deactive the option for hiding Blizzard Buff/Debuff frames.

  • Pitbull4 - Module "Hide Blizzard frames" (option 'Buff/Debuff')
  • X-Perl - Module "Player Buffs" (folder 'Player' subframe 'Player Buffs' on top right)
  • ShadowedUnitFrames - Module "Hide Blizzard" (option "hide buff frames", at last "/console reloadui")

    ive just started using TUKUI and for some reason the buffs come up as empty boxes.... any guesses pls? this is one of my must have addons :(
  • #157
    ok so ive stopped using TUKUI until this problem is sorted and have gone back to bartender4 and bison is working for the most parts except that when i gain a new buff it gets enlarged and stays like that til i do another action or gain another buff :( can you fix this pls as it overlaps the other buffs and timers thanks inadvance!

    Heya,

    I like the addon so far, but I've noticed a problem, and don't know if this is configurable. Proc, like Clearcasting for druids, are shown duplicated, one in the Buff frame, and one in Progs. I like them the separated way, but the one in the main buff frame becomes unnecessary. Any solution?
  • #155
    It's a good idea. But the prog frame is experimental at the moment. I will put it on the todo list.
  • #152
    hi

    dont show anything to me :S

    i use "ShadowedUnitFrames" but i tried without any unit frame addon and don't show buffs or debuffs, any idea?
  • #153
    As far as I can remember SUF has an option to switch off blizzard frames, e.g., buffs, debuffs, character, party, raid, etc., so maybe that's the problem?
  • #159
    You right, but i deativated that options and nothing, i removed entire SUF addon and nothing too :S

    @DJNW
    1)fixed - changed some '
    2)fixed - english is a nice language, but german is more better^^ ;)
    3)I can not reproduce this behavior. I added some SetScale() statemants, but I thing this will not fix the problem.

    @markhr
    Please read the short documentation on the top and deal with xPadding, yPadding and horizontal. All directions are possible.

    @soopercooper
    X-Perl is containing an option to move the player buff to the player frame. This Addon deactivate the Blizzard frame with this option. Please deaktivate this behavior.

    @markhr
    Bison will not have the possibility to consolidate all buffs and debuffs. But a docking option is on my todo list (not this year).

    @Freek91
    I added a option to deactivate Buttonfacade for Bison.
  • #149
    Working perfect with the buttonfacade option unchecked

    thank you very much for your continued work on this spectacular addon!
  • #148
    Thanks

    Just reread your comment, and mine, and maybe there's some misunderstanding.

    The buffs frame should show only buffs but display ALL buffs current on that character, i.e., without the need for any weapon, special, special weapon, special special or other frames.

    The debuffs frame should show only debuffs but display ALL debuffs current on that character, i.e., again with no other debuff frames necessary.

    Docking sounds nice but, uh, what's docking?

    Pretty much what Buffalo3 used to do before 4.0 killed it

    addon seems to be working fine except for one little issue

    when i have buttonfacade enabled and i shift out of ghost wolf form or cancel a buff...the space between the icons goes away and the icons are smushed together and change sizes

    ive updated to the latest buttonfacade but its still not working

    is there a way to just disable buttonfacade for Bison or is there a trick to getting this to work?
  • #140
    Found out if i have XPerl installed, it dont whow the Bison frame.
    Please help me, i dont want to miss out of any of the addones :)
  • #139
    i use this and x-perl, and everything was working fine with the version i had pre 4.0.3, i couldnt right click off buffs with bison, but the buffs and debuffs showed up, i got the new version of bison and now it doesnt work, it doesnt show my buffs at all, i did some testing, and it seems to be x-perl that is the cause, but it was working with the older version, and i havent changed my verson of x-perl, so something u did broke bison and x-perl working together, please fix
