About Bitten's SpellFlash: Hunter

This module flashes suggested spells for all three Hunter specs. You can find *lots* more information on its website.

If you download using the Curse Client it will come with everything you need. If you download your addons manually, you must also get SpellFlash.

Bitten's SpellFlash modules replace Blizzard's default proc highlighting to flash the button you should press next to achieve maximum dps on a boss fight. Or if you are a tank, to maximize your survivability. For healers, they are just slightly smarter proc highlighters. Dps modules follow or are similar to priority schemes found in SimulationCraft and/or Icy Veins. Sometimes you have to be smarter than SpellFlash, e.g. when saving a cooldown for a specific boss mechanic, but in general following the recommendations will improve most people's performance.

Some modules have AoE modes. Check the descriptions of each rotation to see if one is available for the spec(s) you use.

    Hey Everyone! Due to the time its taking for Spell Flash to be updated after Patch, Update or Ex-pac's I have tasked a team of 17 people here at Id Software who will be working on an Add-on that will make look and act the same as spell flash. It is currenly developed by part time gamers and 3rd tier coders. I feel your pain with the regards to the slow progress of a add on and we have decided to take it in house. Stay tuned for more information to be posted on all Spell Flash sites forums.

    I am still working to keep these addons alive.  However, instead of updating them myself, I am working to get them transitioned to new developers.  Because of that, I cannot give you a timeline for working rotations in 6.0.  I have volunteers, it is just a matter of making sure they really do have the time and commitment to make it happen, and getting them up to speed.  I'm glad you all like the addon, and I hope you will have working rotations again soon!

    Found error that was causing it. Pre 6.0 select(7, GetSpellInfo(SpellName)) was giving the cast time. Now its select(4, GetSpellInfo(SpellName)) After this change everything works :) It was error in SpellFlash itself though. Also the problem is that API doesnt return spell cost anymore :(

    I worked around the cast time issue in the Library, and I believe Brent is now aware of the issue in SpellFlash, so that part of it should be taken care of soon?  As for spell *costs*, Blizz does not appear to have an API available to obtain that at all anymore, so that part is going to take more work.

    Well the addon works more or less. It just never flashes Focus generators :D I tried to fix it by my own but it just refuses to flash them :/
