About Bitten's SpellFlash: Shaman
This module flashes suggested spells for all three Shaman specs. You can find *lots* more information on its website.
If you download using the Curse Client it will come with everything you need. If you download your addons manually, you must also get SpellFlash.
Please see the FAQ before posting a question. If that doesn't address your issue, or you have a suggestion to improve this addon, please either leave a comment or create a ticket.
Bitten's SpellFlash modules replace Blizzard's default proc highlighting to flash the button you should press next to achieve maximum dps on a boss fight. Or if you are a tank, to maximize your survivability. For healers, they are just slightly smarter proc highlighters. Dps modules follow or are similar to priority schemes found in SimulationCraft, Icy Veins, and/or Elitist Jerks. Sometimes you have to be smarter than SpellFlash, e.g. when saving a cooldown for a specific boss mechanic, but in general following the recommendations will improve most people's performance.

Updated for patch 5.3:
- Elemental: Changed the conditions for Ancestral Swiftness, since it's fine to use on Lava Burst now that it has a 2 second cast time.
- Elemental & Enhancement: Adjusted the flashing while moving to take into account that Lightning Bolt can always be cast.
- Enhancement: Elemental Blast waits for at least 1 stack of Maelstrom Weapon, and turns into an optional flash while you are moving.

- Elemental: Flame Shock can now flash during Ascendance.
- Elemental: Lava Burst can now flash when Flame Shock is not up if Flame Shock is on cooldown.

- Elemental: Added suggested flashing for when you are moving.
- Elemental: Thunderstorm can now flash during combat, in case you are weaving in Chain Lightnings for 2-target AoE.

After installing this addon I am noticing after a few moments of utilizing it's flashing for spells to use I am being sent straight to the desktop. With access memory violation errors sometime showing termination and other times not.
I see you openned a tag for this issue w/ BigRedBrent (the author of SpellFlash itself, not Bitten's Modules). That is the right thing to do. I have no idea how that could happen.

I had same issue and installed BittensSpellFlashLibrary-3.21.1.zip and it works like a champ but if i use client it no workie, Thanks
It should be working normally now. No need to download the new library version - it comes packaged with the modules now.

with the update this one is triggering some errors and no longer working. Worked before the update to the Spellflash Lib
Yes, the lib has been updated for 5.2 but I have not yet gotten to this module. As it says on the lib page (sorry haven't updated descriptions here or other places yet) you no longer need to download (or update) the library. If you downgrade to the older library, it may work again? (Haven't tried it since the patch.)

it's an English client
Just to make sure: are you sure you are always putting Windfury on the main hand and Flametongue on the off hand? If you reverse those, they will continue flashing.

Ok, that worked, I reverted the install back to 3.2.1, right clicked the weap buffs to remove them, left clicked to reinstate Flametongue & Windfury weap buff and it worked fine and the constant "blinking" prompt for these weap buffs ceased.
So the problem seems to be with one of the updates between 3.2.1 - 3.3.1, sorry I can't be more helpful

Arghhhh spoke too soon .... maybe I jinxed something but the constant blinking for Flametongue & Windfury weap buff is back
Not sure what has happened between 16th Jan ( my last post ) and now but the prompt is FUBAR'ed again :-(
Maybe the last update initiated the spell prompt again .... will try loading a previous version and see what happens, just thought I'd drop a line and let you know .... still a brill addon tho !!
What language does your client use? My first step would be to compare the translation on the localizations page with what appears in the buff's tooltip next to your minimap.
Be aware, it is different than the name of the spell. For example, in English the spell is named "Flametongue Weapon" but the tooltip simply says "Flametongue".

I hope you weren't too dissapointed! There's not much to it. Let me know if you have ideas to improve it. Healing by nature doesn't mix as well with SpellFlash as dpsing or tanking, but there are still a few small things that can be helpful to flash.

Works awesome! Just the way I had hoped. Windshear flashes when I need to interrupt, buffs flash when they need to be renewed, love it! Thank you so much :)
