About Brigand_Chatterbox
Ever frustrated by not knowing when your guildies or party-members are chatting to you because of ALL the scrolling text (trade channel, combat stuff, etc.?) Do you get accused of ignoring your friends because you are always in a struggle-for-your-life in the 3D world; too busy to constantly monitor the chat window?
Never fear: "Chatterbox" is here!
You can now set-up sounds for each chat type so they can grab your attention: Guild, Party, Whisper. You can simply re-use the TellMessage (whisper) sound, any other built-in sound, or even record your own custom OGG files You can even set sounds for standard Say and Yell chats when they are from friends. The latest version of Chatterbox lets you mix-and-match via a modified "Portfolio" library AddOn UI. When in-game, press Esc, choose Interface, click AddOns, pick Brigand Chatterbox.
As you probably already know, just extract the folder(s) into "World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns" and you're all set to save your friendships!

Details for the Channels and new Limits:
GUILD, PARTY, RealID are "pre-filtered" and so need no "limits"
SAY, YELL, EMOTE are "open" and so in order to avoid the YELLs of gold-spammers, can be limited to only make a sound when from certain groups you care about: GUILD, PARTY, FRIENDS. You can also hear them from NPCs, which adds to the "RPG" of the world, especially when waiting to hear a boss YELL when you have ground enough MOBs, or to know when the zeppelin has arrived, etc. :-)
DANGER is a new channel for alerting you that you have picked-up aggro, or once in combat, that your enemy is about to cast a spell -- useful if you have an interrupt. This is only valid when from your TARGET.

New TIMER category lets you know you're running out of breath and gets faster over time (just fixed the always-lub-dub bug)

New sound "picker" makes using built-in WoW sounds easy
OMG, so sorry, I haven't checked-in in a while (been working on an HTML5 game). I must have left the debug info on in my last upload -- my bad. Also, patch 5.0.4 has broken a few API calls (including options panel), so I am uploading a new version tonight!
I do like it, but I'm trying to figure out how to get it to stop spamming the chat text every time there is an event. I get lots of "Brigand_Chatter guild for Xxxyyy" kind of messages, repeatedly. Makes it hard to see everything else. I'll keep looking.
Thanks for a great mod, though.

Interface/addons options is not showing?
I just re-tried a clean "install" and it works fine -- don't forget you need to extract both Brigand_Chatterbox AND Portfolio from within the ZIP. Chatterbox will still work without it, but Portfolio is what adds the "Addons" UI Hope it works for you!
