About Broker_LFD

Displays the status dialog from an LDB instead of the minimap icon.

Also, thanks to Antiarc, display a nice tooltip showing how long a role can expect to wait for a group, also shows a text based status for each roll for your proposed group.

working perfect now with Bazooka. thanks for the update!

It seems that you also need to add
    LFD:RegisterEvent("LFG_ROLE_CHECK_SHOW")
    LFD:RegisterEvent("LFG_ROLE_CHECK_UPDATE")
or the minimap button is shown when you are joining the queue as partial or full group and rolecheck is shown.

I use NinjaPanel to display my LDB's, I really like this mod however, when the mouse curse moves out of Broker_LFD, the statusFrame:Hide() in LFD.obj.OnLeave(self) does not seem to work.

I have to right click on the mod in the bar to bring the menu and make sure I don't mouse over it again for it to hide.

Same problem here in Button Bin(http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/button-bin.aspx).

I arranged my data addons in a single _horizontal_ line. As my cursor getting out of the Broker_LFD region, the horizontal movement(moving cursor to another broker object) seems to work well with code, but vertical movement(direct out of the LDB region) keeps it from being hidden. Hope this would help!

Is there a way you can add to the display, how long we've actually been in the current queue for? Like BattlegroundFu displays how long we are in the queue - very helpful especially if you are very forgettful..lol

In the meantime, i use this macro to facilitate the "in-queue" timer:

    /lfd
    /click LFDQueueFrameFindGroupButton
    /stopwatch
    /stopwatch play
    /lfd

There is an open ticket for this, it's something I plan to add, just not sure when, busy time of year.

Oh Awesome...that would be great. I am patient. I got the title..lol

Can we add a little reminder when the estimated time is coming up? Like a minute before or something.. Obviously for the DPS..

You mean DPS players aren't staring intently at the screen until they get a group? ;¬P

Can't get this to work with ChocolateBar. Any idea why?
  • #12
No idea, never used ChocolateBar, I'll play with it when I get a chance see if I can figure out why? Can you supply another other details, or the module just plain doesn't show up?

I use CB and it seems to works fine. You do have to tell CB to Show Text otherwise you will not see your group form.

There's a packaging problem. It want to copy and replace libstub files while unzipping during manual install.

Crazy, wonder when that happened. Thank you for the report, I've fixed it in alpha, hopefully will get a new build released soon.
