A LibDataBroker friend / guild list in one.

Project name changed for 1.8.0. Old config settings are lost.

If you want to keep contacts in sync across toons:
Tekkub's 'Friends With Benefits' will do this, no config, just install and go.

    I have been using this addon for a long time and in the past, folks who have been using the mobile armory to log in have been shown on the guild list.  Since the recent version, that is not the case.  I can see the isMobile in the lua but for some reason, it is not showing everyone that is logged in through the LDB window.  

    Does anyone know of a fix for this?  I know there are other addons available that can display this, but I like SocialState because of concentration of friends and guild into one addon.

    Re: syncing friends lists, seems like friends with benefits is long dead and has stopped functioning reliably.  I'm trying FriendShare Resurection

    It'd be nice to see the guild count filter yourself out (or at least have the option to in settings) of the list. It's misleading on a quiet day to see '1' as the current logged in guild count and mouse over hoping to see a guildy to talk to. Nope! Just me.

    Just to bump a comment by Le-Sphinx, could we add in the GetGuildInfo string?

    Lines 294-307 manually adding this still works fine.

    FYI, looks like GetGuildRosterInfo() was changed slightly in 5.1 - remote chat users are no longer considered to be connected but isMobile still returns true.  I changed the following on line 717 of SocialState.lua:

    - if connected then

    + if connected or isMobile then

     

    GetNumGuildMembers() seems to also return 3 variables:

    1: total guild members

    2: number of real WoW clients

    3: total number of users including remote users

    I changed line 301 of SocialState.lua as follows:

    local guildTotal, clients, online = GetNumGuildMembers()

    Thank you for this addon! If I may ask for a feature though?

    What I would be interested in is an additional display of "how many remote-chatters". So for instance instead of seeing "10/50 friends" show a "7/3/50 friends" (7 online, 3 remote, 50 total) for both friend and guild?
    I get totally stoked when I log on at raid time and see the guild number at 15, just to find out that it's only 5 online and 10 haven't signed out of their smartphone app :(

    I second both your appreciation for this sweet addon, and the feature request. Alhough, I believe a set of colored numbers is more practical than additional labels. Actually, I'd like to turn off the "SocialState" label as well. Ideally, it'd look something like this.. just an icon & a number series representing RealID,Guild,Friends & Remote respectively:

    still default friendlist

    i installed this on my 3.3.5 client, but the default friendlist is still there, its not like the sreened ones! what is the difference between -nolib and the plain version? i downloaded the LibDataBroker.

    Edit.

    I found out that u must have online friends! its working fine.

    I just downloaded the most recent release version & it is clashing wildly with grid - any thoughts?

    Yes, same problem here.  With the updated SocialState installed, all I get is a small black empty frame for Grid.  If I disable SocialState, Grid works fine.  Note that everything (both addons) were working fine before I updated SocialState about a half hour ago.

    With battle-tag implented, I see many players with their char name at first, their battletag and then the note Ive set. With battletag there is most of the time no need for a note or the "friend" tab. Would you consider creating an option to disable each tab manually?

    It seems to use the default Blizzard font instead of the font I choose in Chocolate Broker. Is there a way to set the font?
