About BSlacker
BSlacker
By Badgerlord <Untamed> EU Nagrand
A lightweight Addon designed to tell you whether your raid members are slacking on their food and flask buffs.
The addon interrogates the raid and checks to see whether all members are fed and flasked (e.g. before a boss encounter). A secondary function is to remind the user to reflask during a raid if their flask runs out, this warning appears by default every 5 minutes but can be turned off or have its frequency changed.
There are other AddOns that track far many more buffs (e.g. RaidBuffStatus), the goal of this addon is simply to provide a lightweight simple alternative for food and flask buffs without going into a thorough class by class analysis for other buffs.
Buffs Tracked
- Flask of the Frost Wyrm
- Flask of Pure Mojo
- Flask of Endless Rage
- Flask of Stoneblood
- Flask of Pure Death
- Flask of Relentless Assault
- Flask of Distilled Wisdom
- Flask of the North
- Flask of Chromatic Wonder
- Well Fed
Usage
- /bslacker - Gives you full details of food/flask status of your raid (console message)
- /bannounce - Announces a status summary to the raid
- /breport - Announces the summary and also names (and shames) the slackers
- /bnag - Toggles nagging about your own status and gear durability while in raid
- /bnag X - Sets the nagging timer to X seconds (e.g. /bnag 30)
- /bhelp - Lists these options
ToDo
- Check whether it currently captures the major flask types

Comments
1 - Nag on own status when entering and/or leaving battle. This way, if I am standing around doing nothing (being a Hunter I allegedly do that a lot) I do not get nagged until I actully enter battle, and if buffs end during a long battle, I get a nag after battle ends so I can buff up again
2 - Nag on own status at 3 minutes, then 1 minute (or some other interval), and again when expired. I personally would find this more helpful than the 'nag every x seconds' option.
3 - Have nags on personal status use the same 'error frame' (is that the right word) that /RW appears in (but not in /rw itself) - you know what I mean ? I hardly ever look down at the chat log unless a whisper comes in (and then it's accompanied by a sound to notify me), so having nags mid screen would really help.
Great, thanks for the suggestions.
1) I think its quite doable to have a nag setup for entering and leaving combat or when a buff expires. I'll try and add a new mode to nagging for this.
2) This is fairly easy to do in principle, but might be a bit awkward to configure.
3) Yes, this is most likely better than the current situation and again fairly easy to do.
