About Can't Heal You
Can't Heal You will automatically whisper people who you try to heal or buff, but who move out of your range or aren't in line of sight. That way, they know you're trying, and can possibly move to help you heal them.
It works automatically -- you just cast your healing spells and buffs the way you already do, even if that's through Healbot, Grid+Clique, or whatever. It also only whispers people who are in your raid, party, or guild, so you don't whisper random strangers you decide to try to buff.
3.21 - updated ToC for WoW 4.3.
3.20 - Another attempt at fixing the save problem. Also fixed UI scaling issue.
3.14 - updated ToC for WoW 4.2. Changed configuration dialog to fit better in space provided.
3.13 - compatibility with WoW 4.0.1
3.12 - workaround for the "disappearing config" problem. Will automatically give a default config if a missing config is detected, and adds "/chy reset" to reset the current character's config and "/chy resetall" to reset the current character's config and the default config used for new characters.
3.11 - Bugfix for empty messages.
3.1 - Bugfixes, added ability to turn off in Battlegrounds.
3.03 - Bugfix for loss of control messages and taxi flights.
3.02 - Bugfix. Only one bug has been reported for 3.00, so making 3.02 (with the fix for that bug) the release version.
3.00 - Major upgrade. Per-character configurations, GUI configuration dialog, ability to whisper for interrupts and existing buffs, ability to send party or raid message when incapacitated. Code has been set up to allow for localization into other languages.
2.12 - Fixed whispers for running out of range, which Blizzard changes had broken....
2.11 - Okay, *now* whispers cross-server. Really. Trust me.
2.1 - now whispers cross-server
2.02 - won't try to whisper people cross-servers, since that's not possible yet
2.01 - bugfix for flight master bug, loss of control bug
2.0 - updated ToC for WoW 3.3, and added /chyw command for manual range-check-and-whisper in macros
1.6 - added throttling of whispers; default is one per 10 seconds per player
1.5 - added slash commands to turn on and off notifications, and to set the messages sent
1.0 - first version

Love this addon as a disc. priest healer! So does everyone else when running instances ^^
Nice to see official ipdate :-) Omw for testing.
Have to edit function CantHealYouOptions_Save(), arround line 488. inside the function before anything else, write:
if CHYconfig then
if ((CHYconfig["OutOfRange"] == "") or (CHYconfig["LineOfSight"] == "" )
or (CHYconfig["LostControl"] == "") or (CHYconfig["GainedControl"] == "")
or (CHYconfig["AuraBounced"] == "") or (CHYconfig["Interrupted"] == "")) then
return;
end
end
That should do the trick.
if ((CantHealYouOptionsOutOfRange:GetText() == "") or (CantHealYouOptionsLineOfSight:GetText() == "" )
or (CantHealYouOptionsInterrupted:GetText() == "") or (CantHealYouOptionsLostControl:GetText() == "")
or (CantHealYouOptionsGainedControl:GetText() == "") or (CantHealYouOptionsAuraBounced:GetText() == "")) then
return;
end
forgot I've updated it.
I'm still not sure what's happening with settings not saving -- they save for me, so I'm thinking I may need to tear out all of the code that saves settings and redo it from scratch. I've been avoiding doing that, since it's going to be a lot of work, but I think it's definitely time for it.
Expect to see Can't Heal You 4.0 by the end of July. I'd say the end of June, but I don't want to promise that and then not be able to deliver.
Is this addon dead?
I can't even see a repository to see if there's any activity.
My settings aren't saving and I have to re set them all on every one of my healers.
Anyone able to do a Fan Update or something to fix it?
BTW i'm willing to help with translations if you localize it for RUru version.
And one more thing, I guess it's not really important what kind of spell is being cast onto somebody when it's not going to get him but the fact that a healer can't reach you is of most imporatnce here. Why don't you remove this part about the name of the spell from defaults?
