An interessting point. It was never a problem for me and other users never mentioned that.
I have a solution in mind, which I have to implement. It won't take so long, hopefully.

Hi I just wanted to ask if there is any way that we could get a timer for mana tea and tiger's eye brew next to the chi bar or make it so that we can configure it seperately.  Just wanted to throw this out there because i'm constantly running out of my mana tea on my mistweaver because I always forget to check it up by my buffs bar and i don't use a different ui then the one default one so I can't change my buffs bar.  Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I don't think I would implement such a bufftracker into the addon because it wasn't intended to do so. The addon is designed to offer a better ui-element for your chi and I don't want to add functionalities, which I didnt intended for chibar. Sorry :(

But there are addons, which allow you to track buff/debuffs separatly like powerauras/weakauras.
You can even use them on other classes or to track your stacks of serpent's zeal or vital mists.
The addons are a little bit difficult to understand in the beginning but there are many guides out there.
You may find some on youtube or text-based on wow-sites.
Or try the weakauras-guide for mistweaver monks from affiniti (blood legion) e.g.:

But there is one question I have: Are your running out of Mana Tea-stacks? Or do forget to use them?
If you don't have enough stacks of Mana Tea, then you're musst use more Chi to build them up.

Hopefully I may help you a little bit.

    Default Chi Bar

Love your addon, great customization and the ability to change the color of your chi made me way happier than it should have.  I've absolutely no technical knowledge like the rest of your commenters seem to, but I was just wondering if you could add an option to hide the default Blizzard Chi-Bar that sits under my Unit Frame, because yours is so much prettier.  A quick google was fruitless, so maybe its something that can't be done.

    Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your positive feedback! :D
I coded something, which should work.
The new version should be approved by Curse soon.
Report bugs in the new version, if you find any. ;)

Should be fixed with the next release. Thanks for the report. ^^

Thank you thank you thank you!

With a little testing I've noticed that the bar has been reapearing sometimes, especially when I zone into dungeons/bg's, and when I leave Org to go to Durotar. That might be a CRZ issue but I cant check cause my monk is only level 30.

Since updating the addon I'm having an issue where it shows that I have chi built up when I dont have any. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

I didn't have the problem in my raid wednesday.
Did you try to reset the addon? Or the tip i gave at comment 16?
At last try to clean the whole addon off your wow-installation und download it again.

Sorry for not helping you further, but I'm not at home the weekend.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that SPELL_POWER_LIGHT_FORCE was changed to SPELL_POWER_CHI, so you'll need to update for that.

  • #20

    Hey there,

    thanks for the info :D

  • #15

I love this, makes looking at my chi SO much easier!

It might be a bug with another one of my addons but every time I log out, or reload or anything, my chibar gets huge and i have to resize it EVERY time, its just rather annoying, any ideas?

  • #16

Well, I don't have this problem on my monk.
Try to delete your ChiBar.lua and ChiBar.bak in the folder
    .../World of Warcraft/WTF/Account/ACCOUNTNAME/REALM/CHARACTER/

After deleting these two files, start your WoW. Maybe it'll help.

Whatever it was, it went away with the last update.
