About Chinchilla Minimap
Chinchilla Minimap alters the Blizzard Minimap in a way to provide much nicer features and other niceties.
- Appearance
- Allows changing of blip size, border style, shape of the map (doesn't have to be circular, or even square, lots of options are available), size, etc.
- Compass
- A more flexible north-east-south-west indicator.
- Coordinates
- Show your location coordinates.
- Expander
- Make the minimap very big temporarily (good for gathering or finding a tough-to-spot enemy).
- Location
- Show the name of your location more flexibly.
- Move Buttons
- Move the buttons around the minimap to wherever you want (even off the minimap entirely).
- Ping
- Show which team-mate pinged the minimap.
- Position
- Position the minimap and frames around it.
- Range Circle
- Show on the minimap where your range extends to.
- Show / Hide
- Show or hide various frames related to the minimap.
- Tracking Dots
- Change the dots on the map to a different set of images. Very handy, especially if you suffer from colour-blindness
- Zoom
- Use the mouse-wheel to zoom the minimap and zoom out the map automatically after 20 seconds (or so).

Chinchilla is still hiding the Durability Figure by default. You need to add a visibility toggle to the Show / Hide menu to allow it to be made visible.
No matter what I do, or which profile I use (make new one too) the minimap always "jumps" back to the middle of the screen, just over the action bars. I don't know how to fix it .___.
Not seeing the Garrison button on the minimap now... am I missing a setting, or is this not updated for Warlords?
Edit: I do want to mention that this addon is very well done. Just what I was looking for. :)
You might be missing a setting.
In "Show / Hide" there are options to show or hide the button. You'll want either a gold (always) or silver (on mouseover) tick for the garrison report button to show. If that doesn't work, then a different addon is hiding it.

Chinchilla is hiding the durability figure. I cannot find a way to stop it from hiding the figure. There is no check box in the "Show/Hide" menu for toggling its visibility.
The hiding of the durability figure is not caused by another addon. It is hiding when using Chinchilla as the only addon.
Noticed the same thing. The durability figure pops up again when un-mounting.
The options in the config to get rid of the range circle and the on-mini-map rare paths arne working. Broken or conflicting addon?
You want NPC Scan's options window, not Chinchilla's. :)

Thanks for this great addon!
Please consider adding Chinchilla to the Blizzard Key Bindings list. Changing keybindings for Expanders keeps the old bind intact while adding the new one. In order to get rid of the old binding I had to first bind it to another addon/function via Blizzard Key Bindings and then unbind it, as Chinchilla did not unbind it on its own.
I'll look into it. Hopefully it will be straightforward.

Is there any chance for a scale setting for the buttons?
I use a huge minimap in the bottom center of my UI, I can scale the icons on the map, but the buttons get huge-ified too and I'd rather they were normal sized.
Not yet but I want to do so. I just haven't had time is all.
