About clcInfo_DestroWarlock

This addon has been merged with Affliction and Demonology module to become clcInfo_Warlock!
Please download from this Curse link: http:www.curse.com/addons/wow/clcinfo_warlock

This addon will no longer be maintained separately. All suggestions and feedback should be given at the new link.

Thank you for your support!

clcInfo_DestoWarlock is a plugin for the clcInfo rotation and cooldown tracking addon. This module is a significant improvement over the destruction warlock module included with clcInfo.

PLEASE NOTE: You must create a template and icons within clcInfo, you will not see anything on the screen until you do this. There is a link to the clcInfo addon below with examples and instructions. You may also refer to Basic Setup for a quick two icon setup.

Destruction Rotation Features:

  • Provides current spell and next spell rotation tracking.
  • Improved Soul Fire, Immolate, Bane of Doom and Corruption are tracked on the player or target.
  • Cast time and travel time to target calculated based on distance for accurate buff and debuff refreshes.
  • 8 yard distance to target used to determine if Shadowflame is recommended in rotation.
  • An icon to indicate if target is in range of Shadowflame.
  • Bane of Doom has a low priority refresh tracker, but will move to high priority in the last five seconds. This usually allow a Bane of Doom refresh to replace an Incinerate or Chaos Bolt filler.
  • Additional reminder times may be set for Immolate, Soul Fire and Corruption.
  • Chaos Bolt is skipped when spell haste is 50% or greater as recommended by EJ for 4.3.
  • User settable debuff delay to allow for server response time. This prevents spell from being recommended when they have just been cast, but are waiting for the client to be updated.
  • Spell priority is fully configurable through the clcInfo Options GUI or by chat command line.

Additional Warlock Features:

  • Shadowburn available tracking icon
  • Demon Soul available tracking icon
  • Dark Intent not cast tracking icon
  • Fel Armor not cast tracking icon

For some reason I am not seeing see option to select Destruction rotation next ability.  I only see the option to select current ability again.  What am I doing wrong or how do i get it to show up?

Great addon to start destruction warlocking!

One mminor bug - the shadowflame range is off by 1-2 yards (I tried it at max range), it's not a big deal and I would fix it if I can, but I don't see it anywhere under the Class Modules. If it works for you, it could be because I'm a troll, and their hitbox vs spell range could be an issue.

    v1.0.6 Changes

Modified the Class Module tab in clcInfo Options to say DestroWarlock to avoid confusion vs. the "Destruction" tab for the default module. I asked the author of clcInfo to provide a way to remove the default tab, but received no cooperation.

Modified Soul Fire with Soul Burn so that when there is an Empowered Imp proc, it will just suggest Soul Fire instead of Soul Burn first if the buff is expiring. This still occurs at the higher SBSF priority though, not at the lower EISF priority to maintain the ISF buff. If the buff is not expiring, then EISF will be recommended at the lower priority.

PLEASE NOTE: A few people have told me the Soul Shard bar does not work. This is not part of this module. I would recommend using MoveAnything to move the Blizzard Soul Shard bar to the desired location.

v1.03 ... v1.0.6 are identical, the packager said it was rejecting uploads, but apparently it was lying.

Thank you for the encouraging comment.

I'm a bit lazy right now and only playing destruction at the moment. I need to finish my Dark Intent selection and tracking program before I start another project.

I've save off your template, but will probably start mostly from scratch.

    Changed for v1.0.2

Chaos Bolt is now skipped when haste is 50% or greater, rather than based on presence of Heroism, Bloodlust and Time Warp buffs. This is per EJ 4.3 recommendation. Haste is based on player spell haste and does not include additional 9% from Dark Intent procs. This allows buffs such as Nozdormu's Presence during Madness of Deathwing to have the desired results if it pushes your haste over 50%.

Please read the docs on clcInfo. This is a plugin for that Addon

You won't see anything until you set up your primary and secondary spell icons.

At a minimum, you must create a template (Add Template)

Then you can add icons for "Destruction Rotation Current Abililty" and "Destruction Rotation Next Ability"

These are under the "Warlock|Destruction" categoy on the Icon Behavior tab

Sorry, clcInfo is a bit complicated and there is no way to create a default template at this time.

The way the rogue module was set up, there was just an import.txt with ~35MB of stuff so you could just import everything with all the settings that you have.

It's a roundabout way to do it, but it is more user friendly than having us set it all up :p

    35MB? OMG!!

I know it's a bit hard to set up. I remember the first time I got clcInfo and had to set it up for my paladin. There's a video where this guy ran through the setup at the speed of light and I was thinking I'd never figure it out.

I'll take a look at the rogue module and see what they did for import.

I have other projects and it is not my priority to document the main clcInfo addon. I hope you understand.

I am always happy to answer specific questions about my warlock module.
