About Combuctor

Overview

Combuctor is a bag replacement addon designed to help the player find items in the inventory as quickly and as easily as possible.

  • Intelligent searching (see syntax)
  • Highly customizable filters
  • Coloring based on quality, being a quest or unusable item
  • Ability to view the inventory & bank of any character, from anywhere *

* - Requires the player to login and visit the bank once at each character

    Hello!  Thanks for making all the fixes in the last couple days. I love this addon and was lost with all my inventory in different little bags.

    I'm running into a small issue. When I click something to mail it, it's not going grey (so it's hard to tell what I have already clicked to mail and what I haven't yet). This doesn't always happen, but usually it does. Sometimes clicking a second item to mail makes the first go grey... but sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes that will work four times, then the fifth won't, then the sixth will.

    This has only been happening in the last day or two. I'm using the latest version and have BagBrother enabled.

    Are you sure that issue does not happen also with Combuctor disabled? That is usually related to server delay.

    I'm also having this problem along with not being able to move the bank window.

    I found out that if you select some items to mail, then move something around in your bag, the items that were selected turn gray.

    I just checked that: Logged off an alt, disabled Combuctor and BagBrother, logged on. Sent a mail, all items went grey just fine. Logged off, turned the addons back on, logged on. Sent a mail, no items went grey.

    The problem with 4.3.8 is that it's not compatible with your old saved variables if you have been using combuctor a long time (since the keyring existed).

    If you are getting the "invalid container ID" error you can fix it by pasting this into the wow chat box (or into a macro and running it).

    /run for _,p in pairs(CombuctorDB2.profiles) do if p.inventory.bags[1] == -2 then tremove(p.inventory.bags, 1) end end

    Note this is all on one line.

    Today I did the Update to Version 4.3.8.

    Bug: In the Version 4.3 I could mouseover the Gold, and the total Gold of all Chars on the Server was shown. With 4.3.8 nothing happens. Could u plz fix it soon?

    The items cache (were the gold of your characters is recordedd) has been reset. You simply have to login on your characters. And please make sure you have BagBrother enabled.

    Deleted Saved Variables, Logged in some Chars, BagBrother is enabled on all Chars, but the Total Gold Tooltip doesn't appear.
