About CooldownCount

This addon displays a large yellow number (and text for numbers > 60 seconds) on spell icons for action bars, bags, character sheet, and quest icons in the tracker. Font can be modified, and the cut-off for how long a cooldown needs to be in order to display on the button can also be changed. The number begins flashing when time remaining is less than 10 seconds.

This is an update for WoW >= 3.3.5 compatibility since 4.0's new API nuked some of the code here. The original addon was created by hshh and the compatibility has been fixed by TheCheat5 and Kiki.

Additional Note: Tested and confirmed working after dependency update for Patch 6.0.2

    Hi there,

    This is a great add-on. I only got 1 question. I got the Searing Totem on my action bar which I need to refresh every 60 seconds. Is it possible to show this as a countdown as well?

    I noticed the post from the hunter and in the same line I removed "TotemFrame", but that did not do the trick for me :(

    Thanks in advance for any answer.

    great addon , but i think it's a little bug when a cooldown refreshes out like colossus smash for me , it says it's on a 20 sec cd but it's not , hope you will fix that , thanksCool

    They should be displayed.

    Maybe it's a frame blacklisted.

    Go to your interface folder (<wow>/Interface/AddOns/CooldownCount/)  and open CooldownCount.lua with a text editor (wordpad.exe for example), and replace the 7th line from

    local blacklist = { "TargetFrame", "PetAction", "TotemFrame", "PartyFrame", "TargetofTargetFrame", "FocusFrame", "RaidFrame" }


    local blacklist = { "TargetFrame", "TotemFrame", "PartyFrame", "TargetofTargetFrame", "FocusFrame", "RaidFrame" }

    Save the file, and restart wow.

    Tell me if it works.

    There is a problem with the CD timer for rogues. When you pop preparation, it will remove the immediate cooldown on the spell. Yet it will still show the cooldown timer on that spell. You can still click the spell and use it again but still.

    I've noticed the same thing with a glyphed Shadow Word: Death that failed to kill a target below 25% and all my mage CDs on the Murozond encounter after the hourglass is used, but the cooldown properly resets on my druid's starsurge when the shooting stars buff activates.

    Is there a way to make it only flash alternate colours for the last 4 or 5 seconds? rather than all 20+

    Feel so naked without this addon, i saw on the Project site that there is a Beta release BUT is not working properly. hopefully a update properly mark as release come out soon Innocent

    What's the issue you have with the beta version?

    My account is closed, so I don't know what is not working with the beta, but I might help making a proper release for the patch.

    Ok, I found the issue. Not fixed yet, but I found why it's not working (well, not working for everyone, works well with Bartender):
