About CopyCat
CopyCat - A World of Warcraft AddOn
Copy Cat is a World of Warcraft AddOn that monitors the Trade channel every 30-45 seconds for someone to say something. When CopyCat picks up a message someone sent in the Trade channel, it will scan it for bad words and advertising which could give someone unwanted attention or yourself banned. It has a customizable time which is defaulted to fluctuate between 30 and 45 seconds, to prevent copying someone at the exact same interval.
Installation
All Stable Releases of CopyCat are automagically packaged on Curse and available through the Curse Client. The addon can be downloaded from the CopyCat AddOn Page using manual or automatic (Curse Client) installation methods.
Development
If you are interested in contributing to the addon or just want to check out the code feel free to check out the CopyCat Source Code on Github.
Issues and Feature Requests
I ask that all problems with the addon are reported to the CopyCat Issue Tracker on Github. Checking the Curse project page can be a bit of a pain in the ass sometimes and it helps me if I can keep everything organized in one place.
Thanks for checking it out and I hope someone else can make use of this addon!

Love this addon. Can just sit in trade chat and annoy everyone without any effort. Only problem is that it doesn't seem to catch the gold advertisements that are circulating on my server, and I just got my account suspended for it copying a gold advertisement.
Is there a way to manually add a specific message to the filter list from inside the game? Or maybe plans to add a interface that will allow us to right click on a message in trade and add it to the filter list?
Thanks for the self amusement.
If you can PM me with the gold adverts you are seeing on your server I can add in filters for them.. it's been a while since I've added stuff to the gold advert filter so it might not be a bad idea to add some more stuff to them.
Right now I don't really have any plans with the addon.. maybe come Mists of Pandaria I will give it a fresh interface but for Cataclysm I'm not going to bother. You can add more filters inside the lua file.
Mfg Zeroless
And then nothing happens. No repeat.
With the limit of trade messages in patch 4.0.1 the addon will adhere to the chat rules so you will no longer be able to configure it to mass copy anymore. At least this is all still possible, afk trolling people ftw.
