About Craft Ninja

Tracks the crafts of people around you. Useful for stalking your AH competitors and figuring out exactly what they are crafting!

This addon listens for combat log events caused by other players crafting stuff nearby and provides this info to you in a consolidated and useful manner. This addon also supports using multiple characters at once (on separate accounts of course) for maximum stalking ability.

Everything is mostly slash command based. Type '/cn' to print out a list of slash commands. There is a basic GUI for showing a consolidated view of the crafts that have been tracked ('/cn gui'). The data is just tracked on a per-session basis.

Note that any alts you setup with CraftNinja will be added to your friends list. This is because there is no other way for the addon to know if they are online or not and if it tried to send data to an offline character, you'd get a bunch of "Player not found" spam. If all your alts are online when you add them, you'll only have to add them on one character and it'll sync with all the others so all your characters will have all the data.

I'm not going to be putting a ton more into this mod for a while. This was just an idea proposed by Aeg of The Consortium that I thought I'd try out. Right now TradeSkillMaster is much higher priority for me.

Please add an option to filter crafts, such as low level stuff I don't care about i.e. Lesser healing potion Etc

Please add a way to configure the addon to print info to a frame chat selected by player (ie. a specifically created dedicated frame chat), so the main chat frames are not suffering spam that can occur when someone crafts huge bulk of items.

This was added a while ago. Type '/cn' to bring up a list of slash commands.

Thank you. When I downloaded the addon, the command was not mentioned on this page.

The /cn print # command doesn't appear to work. I tried setting it to the channel I use for my AH printouts and the CraftNinja readouts vanish completely. In the last couple beta versions, typing /cn again would see the slash commands come up in the general window, but in the latest version, not even that appears, though you can still bring up the gui by /cn gui.

'/cn print #' is probably not documented well enough.

Replace the '#' part with the number of the tab counting from left to right. For example, I have three tabs: "General", "Combat", and "Trade" (one I made) in that order from left to right. If I wanted to do make it printout into the "Trade" tab, I'd type:

    /cn print 3

It works! So used to having 'channel number' actually being the channel number it never dawned on me that it might be the tabs instead. I should know better. Thanks!
