About CustomChat

CustomChat:

Enables you to customize your chat in the following ways:
* Editbox Top/Bottom.
* Timestamps Enable/Disable.
* Timestamp format (set your own custom timestamp format).
* Sticky chats.
* Fade Enable/Disable.
* Fade time (sets time until the chat fades if chatfade is enabled. in seconds).
* Chatbuttons Enable/Disable.
* Chattab flashing on new messages Enable/Disable.
* Chat copy. (A separate frame where you are able to copy text freely)
* Chat prefix Enable/Disable (Guild,Party,Channels etc).
* Chat prefix Abbreviation (shortens channel names etc).
* Chat nick classcoloring Enable/Disable (Only works for players seen in guild,raid,party).
* Chat highlighting.
 - Custom words.
 - Url's.
* Mousewheel scroll Enable/Disable.
 - <ctrl> scroll to top / bottom.
 - <shift> scroll page instead of lines.
 - <alt> toggle if you want to use alt buttom by default to scroll.

Commands:
/cchat             - Displays this help.
/cchat copy        - Open the copy frame.
/cchat config        - Configuration.
/cchat highlight    - Highlights.
/cchat reset        - Reset settings.

* (2.9): Updated to work with 3.0.2
* (2.8): Settings are now stored per character.
* (2.7): Minimapbutton toggle ability. Toggle for chat coloring of own nick. Changed the structure of the /cchat command.
* (2.6): Fixed classcoloring in battlegrounds.
* (2.5): Added Minimap Button. Added Timestamp for Combatlog toggle. Changed so that Class Coloring only activates on channels where it knows what class everyone is (guild,party,raid,battleground).
* (2.4): Added Chat scroll with mouse wheel button if alt is pressed toggle. Added chat prefix abbreviation toggle. Added url highlighting toggle.
* (2.3): Fixed new colors for classes. Really this time ;) it reads directly from WoW's color variable now.
* (2.2): Fixed new colors for classes.
* (2.11): Minor fix for / command since cc was used in too many other addons.
* (2.1): Highlighting no longer listens to things you say and classcoloring doesn't color your nick when switched off.
* (2.0): Cleaned up the code a bit and patched a few bugs here and there.
* (1.9): Bugfixes for highlighting and classcoloring.
* (1.8): Added Chat nick classcoloring toggle. Added Chat highlight functionality.
* (1.7): Added Chat prefix toggle.
* (1.6): Added Chattab flash toggle.
* (1.5): Fixed so that chatbuttons won't pop up on certain events.
* (1.4): Updated the timestamp function. It now works correctly without reloading the ui when enabling/disabling. Also fixed tha position of the editbox in it's default position.
* (1.3): Added customization of the timestampformat. And some window beauty updates ;)
* (1.2): As of this version there's now an option window access by /cc
* (1.1): Cleaned up the code a bit. Added ctrl+mousescroll for going to the top of bottom of the chat.
* (1.0): Initial release.

    I love this addon because it does what I want in a very simplistic way. (Prat is just too much for me) But there is one problem I've noticed. I have a few custom tabs for whisps, guild, party, etc chat, and cchat just doesn't acknowledge them. Most of the side buttons are gone, but the one where you chose party, macros, say, etc, is still there and it doesn't do the color name by class.

    I don't know if this is just me, but if it's possible to fix it, it'd be very much appreciated. I've tried removing the tabs and recreating them, but it doesn't help.

    The only thing i've noticed so far is that timestamps classcoloring etc doesn't work in any other tabs than chatframe1.
    I'm looking into a fix for this. Don't really know why this should've changed.
    Are there any other "bugs" besides the ones that i mentioned here ?

    That's the only problem I've had so far. The chat box does always change position when I log on, but I think that's just a game mechanic and I just have to unlock, move, and lock again. No biggie. And I only recently moved my chatbox to the center of my screen, so it might be that. But thank you for trying to fix this! :D If nothing can be done, I'll just deal with it. But hopefully it's fixable.

    Ye i know they move a bit.
    But for me they only move IF my comp is too slow loading addons.
    If it's quick or i do reloadui. they're in the right place.
