About Custom Flight Map

Customize the appearance of the Flight Map. Change a node's color and size, or use a tower graphic instead (as those used on the world map for capital cities), breaking up the sometimes-cluttered standard flight map to make it easier to find what you're looking for.

Basic usage: While talking to a Flight Master, right-click on a destination node on the flight map to change its symbol. Do this several times to cycle through all the options until you find the one you want. Hold down Shift to instead change the node's size. If you hold down the Control key while right-clicking, it will revert the symbol (or the size, if Shift is held) to the default.

Once all the nodes are how you want them, use the slash command "/cfm lock" to prevent further adjustments. You can always use "/cfm unlock" if you change your mind.

Enter "/cfm" to see the full list of commands, including those to hide/show your changes and reset some or all nodes.

    thank you! :)

This is nice, you know what kind of add-on I really want now that there are so many flight points I can't see the actual map... I would love a zoom.

So if I want to just zoom in to the current zone (on the flight map), it'll let me zoom in so I can then choose a flight point.

I'm unsure if you have thought about that or not, but a + and - to zoom in and out or use the mouse up and down would be an awesome addition to this. =)

    Am I doing something wrong?

I changed Ironforge and Stormwind to large blue towers and I changed Menethil Harbor to blue and typed /cfm lock when done. Got the message the changes were locked but when I reopened the flightmap Ironforge was changed to green. It's still a large tower but it went from blue to green.

    This happened twice now.

Lol duhh! I just woke up so don't mind me, I forgot it's green because I am here at Ironforge doing this! I'll leave the above comment in case someone else makes same innocent goof as me.

Wonderful addon thank you! More colors! More icons! Red x, yellow stars, solid circles!

A whole box of Lucky Charms, we need more! haha

This is how I would use Custom Flight Map as an Alliance player for example (also assuming we had the extra icons/colors)

    Blue Towers = Capitol cities
Blue Boot = for places with docks (Theramore Isle, Booty Bay, and so on)
Gold Star (yellow) = (favorites) Places I go to pick up / turn in dailies
Red X = (X marks the spot) for the last place I was questing out of before I stopped to do LFD or craft etc
Solid Cirle = Just in case you need an extra icon
Default color or grey = for places I would never ever go to normally, even option to reduce alpha low so it doesn't stand out.

Anyhow this is great and just to let you know this also works with the addon Taxicab for the flight map as well.
