About Cyborg MMO7

The Cyborg MMO7 add-on allows you to drag and drop spells, inventory items and macros directly to the buttons of the mouse. No more lengthy setup, just jump in and quickly create the perfect configuration without having to change any of your existing action bar settings.

For first time users, we suggest looking at the Tutorial Video for the add-on:

Before you run the add-on please take the time to read these brief setup notes:

Make sure that the drivers and software for the MMO7 have been downloaded and installed from the downloads section of

Also, inside the CyborgMMO7 addon is a folder called CurrentProfile. This will be the latest up to date profile you will need to place in the profile directory: (Or download and unzip the MMO Profile Pack from the bottom of the download section of

The profiles need to be unzipped and placed in the correct folder on your PC. Once unzipped, put the profiles into:

Windows8/8.1: C:\Users\Public\Documents\SmartTechnology Profiles

Windows7: C:\Users\Public\Documents\SmartTechnology Profiles

Vista: Public Documents\SmartTechnology Profiles

XP : Shared Documents\SmartTechnology Profiles

Mac: <user's home directory>Library/Application Support/Smart Technology/RAT

Once the profiles are in the correct folder, click the MMO7 icon in your system tray, and then left click the profile called Mmo7WoW. The MMO7 icon will be highlighted green to show that the profile is active.

When you are in game, press the mode button on the MMO7 to sync the add-on with the device.

This profile needs to be active when you want to play using the add-on.

NOTE: For those who have had previous versions installed

Check the correct assignments are set by right clicking the Cyborg icon on the map or by going to Game Menu > Interface > AddOns > Cyborg MMO7 From the click the + to expand the menu and click on keybindings. In the bottom left corner click Defaults and from the 3 options in a small popup window make sure you choose These Settings. Dont click All Settings or you will reset all your AddOns!

When you have finished using the profile, click the MMO7 icon and left click Clear Profile.

Anyone have issues adding mounts as bindings?

  • #210

My mount won't work either. Tried switching to a different mount with the addon and it just made the mounts that were bound disappear

  • #200

I couldnt get a mount to work either, so its not just you.  Hopefully they get a new version out ASAP because this does work nice with the mouse.

  • #197

For anyone else checking, it seems to still be working with 6.0.2, if you check "Load Out of Date Addons".

  • #196

I see a lot of complaints about this again. If you just read through the comments below and you will eventually see how to fix all the issues. I have had this mouse for a while now and with the most recent updates there are no glitches.

  • #195

Developpers, is there anyways to make the UI little bit smaller or play with the opcity ?

Cause it's really big. like really really big and it's always there...

expect in combats ... which is the must important part of the skills ... i cant memorise every 15 buttons, i'm not that kid of player.

    Need a Maj on it.

  • #194

Addon works like a charm for me :) Everything is as it was intended. Thanks alot. I used mouse a long time before i noticed this addon and it speeds up everything.

  • #193

is there plans in the future to add in modifiers into the addon ?

if there is already the ability to do so, can i have instructions to do so ?

  • #204

You can do that with the mouse, but not with the addon. You need to modify the mouse profile for the buttons to become unmodified keys, and then go to the regular WoW key binding interface and press the buttons with modifiers.

  • #190

I really don't understand how this addon is useful… But perhaps I just don't understand how to make this mouse work in-game. On my old mouse, all of the buttons were passed into the game as Button-X (where X was a number). I could just open up the WoW native keybind menu, click an option (like the "Move and Steer" option) press a few modifier keys (alt-shift) and one of the buttons.

But with the MMO7 mouse, using the included profile for warcraft, all they keys get passed in as Ctrl-Alt-Numpad-X, and even after assigning them, they don't work. PLUS, because they gets passed in as though I were pressing the keys on the keyboard, I can't manually choose the modifier keys.

Is there a way to just make the buttons "show up" in game as buttons rather than key combos??

  • #203

WoW only support 5 mouse buttons. To get more buttons the mouse has to emulate keyboard presses.

i am noticing that the first mode in this addon you can not set the spells to it you have to goto the second mode for the spells to work how do i fix it

i have a great problem in setting up my key bindings:
both if i use the addon or not my bindings change every 10 minutes.
Once i set up the bindings with the addon correctly, it randomly swithces to other bindings letting me unable to play.
Does anybody knows how to fix this?

Hope this latest update fixes the bug with the buttons all changing when you log in. They seem to be fine on my warlocks, DK and hunter, but I made a new character, a shaman, and just about every time I log into them, all the mouse buttons are changed.

I'll post an update to this once I'm able to get on and check.

Had to re-assign all the mouse buttons with this update.

It seems that macros can't be used with the mouse buttons. Anything I drag from the /macro window does nothing on the mouse. The macros do function on an action bar though.

    Update 2:

Seems the button map window closes when entering combat. Please don't. When setting up buttons for a new toon, it's handy to see how I have things mapped.

    Update 3:

Logged onto a toon. Setup the mouse. Enter combat. All the mouse buttons are set to nothing. Setup mouse again. Enter combat again. Buttons stay.

Seems some macros work. Some don't. Also seems some macros work for some toons, but the same macro doesn't on others.

    Update 4:

Seems after closing WoW & re-launching, macros may start working on the mouse. Only tested with 1 character so far.
