About Dark Intentions

UPDATED FOR 5.0.4!!

About

This addon is designed to be a lightweight Dark Intent tracker, but with the ability to track other Warlock abilities. It is based on my other Warlock addon Soul Sucker, which I decided did a bit too much. So I completely rewrote the parts that I wanted and thus you have Dark Intentions.

Localization

Coming Soon!

Features

  • Soulstone Tracking!
    • Announces to the raid/party/say, depending on your party status, when you use a Soulstone on someone.
    • Optionally, will announce whether the Soulstone Resurrection succeeded or failed.
    • Can also whisper the target when they are battle resurrected.
  • Ritual of Souls Tracking!
    • Announces to the raid/party/say, depending on your party status, when you begin to channel Ritual of Souls.
    • I would like to add more, like number of charges left, but I'm not 100% sure of how to do that.
  • Ritual of Summoning Tracking!
    • Announces to the raid/party/say, depending on your party status, when you begin to channel Ritual of Summoning.

Chat Command

  • /di Opens the configuration panel.

How does it choose which channel to send the announcements?

It's really simple, it uses the following hierarchy.

  1. Raid
  2. Party
  3. Say

    Hi,

I have the same signs. di does not load. Any clues how to fix it?

It sounds to be just an awesome addon. I hope there is a cure. :)

Installing Ace3-lib does make the error go away, but /di still does not work.

This sounds like an awesome addon, unfortunately it seems to do absolutely nothing while I have it loaded, and you seem to have cleverly avoided saying anything about eventual /commands I might use to change settings.

  • #2

/di is the config command, but it's config is in Interface Options > Addons, like every other addon.

  • #5

You need to enable Display LUA Errors in interface options > Help and see what it's saying.

  • #4

And I can confirm that the /di command does nothing either.

Do I need to install some other addon or library to get it to work?

  • #3

Not for me, I tried installing it twice just to be sure. The addon shows up in the loaded addons list, but is absent from the interface options tab.
