About Dashboard - Inner Fire

This addon flashes a large icon on the screen when inner fire expires.

The icon can be repositioned and resized and is invisible when you have the buff.

Type /dbif for options.

Options:

lock - begins checking for inner fire, makes icon invisible.

unlock - stops checking for inner fire, makes icon visible and moveable.

size [n] - sets the icon size to n.

flashtime [n] - sets the icon flash time to n seconds.

Examples:

/dbif lock

/dbif unlock

/dbif size 50

/dbif flashtime 0.5

/dbif flashtime 2

Converted To Use General Lib.

Added a flashtime option.

Fixed a Problem that would cause an error if you logged on and weren't a priest.

Initial Check-in.

Flashing is annoying to me as well, however the biggest thing I want to say, if you put /dbif flashtime 0, the game crashes.

Hey, I've been using this addon for a while now and its been working great. However, I downloaded 2 or 3 other mods (PoM tracker and Shadow Green Light, maybe one other, not sure) and ever since then this mod is broken. The icon doesn't turn off anymore, it just stays on constantly. Buff can be on or off and the icon just stays there.

Maybe an addon conflicting? idk...any chance of looking into this? :)

Is there an easy way to turn off the flashing?

Can author or someone edit this addon so i can replace icon with something else? (just for cosmetic reasons)

    Hiya :-)

Do you have an icon in mind?

I'll be straight - building in code for you to change the icon as you please is a lot of work...I'd have to build a UI that let you select the icon you want to show...as it stands, the addon is a "fire and forget" - you switch it on and it just works...

If a massive number of people think it's worthwhile (it seems unintuitive to me that you'd want a different graphic) then I'll probably do it...but otherwise, it seems like I'd spend all of my free time for a week for something that doesn't add a massive amount of usefulness for most people.

    Hi.

I'd have to build a UI
No no, thats really to much work for a such little fix. All i want is just an image in addons folder that user can replace with simple file replace. Maelstrom Maestro works same way, if you dont like sound - simply replace it with yours.

    Thanx for answer.
