About DHUD for 6.0

DHUD is a highly configurable and customizable HUD addon in the spirit of DHUD, MetaHUD, and others designed to keep your focus in the center of the screen where your character is.

What it is

Player and target health and mana bars, casting bars, pet health and mana bars, druid mana bar in forms, bars with alternative power, spell circles with short player auras, target self auras and cooldowns, extensive target info, and much more.

Short feature list

  • Health Bars are able to display shields, heal absorption and incoming heal effects.

    getting that error while in combat, msg as it's shown by bugsack:

    [ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED] AddOn "DHUD" tried to call the protected function "CompactRaidFrame11:Show()".

    Seen this error few times too, but it not always reporting DHUD addon, and DHUD have nothing to do with raid frames. Investigation to this problem will probably take huge amount of time, which I don't have now. If someone knows solution to this problem (simillar to Glyph's error) I will appreciate the help.

    I've been a longtime metahud user and I with this recent patch I realized I might need to find an alternative and I found this. I love that it feels like metahud. I wanted to ask if there's going to be an option to customize the font in future updates, as that was one option I frequently used in my favor with metahud.

    I may add it, but it's not on the priority list. Currently you can edit the path to the font in layout/DHUD_Layout*.lua files (line 292, ["defaultfont"] = "Fonts\\FRIZQT__.TTF",)

    Would this also work to make the font a little bit bigger?  I don't like the way the HUD looks all stretched out at a higher ratio, but I have to keep it like that to see the numbers easier.

    I know, we're being terribly picky  :)  But if it's something I can change myself, and not break anything (and I can always download it again if I do), I can copy/paste code.

    Hey, My main char is a walrock and i really love this HUD, but with the new warlock changes now only Affliction warlocks can use 3 Soul Shards,  Demonology warlocks gain Demonic Fury when they use use spells that generate Demonic Fury, and you can use Demonic Fury to transform Metamorphosis  and use some new spell etc..., Destruction warlocks use Burning Embers, its like Holy Power for paladins, warlocks can get max. 3 Burning Embers, but we reach slower 1 stack Burning Ember than like Paladins use 1 spell and get 1 holy power...so my question is...can we get in the future an update for this to show Demonic Fury and Burning Embers? :)

    I don't want to be picky, but ablities can only use up to 3 holy power per attack. I feel a more appropriate color scheme for the orbs would be red, yellow, green, green, green.

    I should have mentioned that earlier, sorry.

    I will change it this weekend. I, myself, play a rogue and we will be able to store up to 10 combopoints, so it's simillar issue that affects my gameplay :). The previous fix didn't requred any time to complete, the new scheme is a bit harder to implement.

    I thought I'd posted this, but I guess not.  Is there any way to change the health/mana bars text?  I'm wanting it to show 15,000 instead of just 15000, or even show 15k.  Trying to count all the 0's while I'm in the game is starting to hurt my head.  :)
