About DKDots
Based on the AffDots addon by Ironfoundersson, this addon helps
you choose when to reapply diseases for maximum damage.
To open config: '/dkdots'
- Customization:
- Layout/size
- Horizontal or vertical blocks
- Horizontal bar
- Colors for
- Reapplying diseases will deal more damage (default green)
- Reapplying diseases will deal same damage (default yellowish)
- Reapplying diseases will deal less damage (default red)
- Hide or show number
- Relative: How much better or worse it would be to reapply diseases, with 100 as unchanged damage.
- Non-relative: Shows dps for reapplying disease and current disease damage.

I love the addon! It's the best out there for its purpose. Thanks for keeping it going. I havn't been able to use it so I hope it will finally work again. I wasn't able to get the "Bars" mode to show up at all.
The Bars didn't show up in the latest version? or previous versions?
New version is up that rounds DPS numbers. If the numbers clip into the icon, adjust text position for horizontal/vertical layout.
Now the valuse for the disease strength has at least 10 digits after the decimal point: 2347.12345432156 / 3245.8765439286.
Going back to 0.75 again.
I know the same day that the last update came out there were posts to suggest users swap to DKdiseaes as a replacement to this "broken" addon. This addon was never broken prior to update 0.76, so I have no idea what is going on. If this addon is just being toyed with so folks will swap, just say so & stop wasting our time.
That's strange, have you tried toggling "Use relative value for disease power instead of DPS" in "Power text" options?
The relative values might have been one of the few things I forgot to check if they worked properly. But since I didnt make any changes to that specific code, I didnt think it would change so drastically.
I know the addon was working in 0.75 but was under the notion that it stopped working more frequently then before. At least I had the problem in 5.1 and 0.75 that it would stop updating/tracking diseases, and a reload was needed. I worked on a version for the 5.2 ptr with some new features, but ended up quitting wow before it went live. When some people wanted me to update/fix dkdots recently, that's the version I based it on. Since some libs were updated to 5.2 versions, I thought that might have fixed some problems. Not trying to toy with people, I know there are alternatives, but I'd like for people to have many choices between which addon to use and grateful for anyone that continues to use this one. Trying to keep it updated as best I can.

I've removed v0.76 for now, thanks for the feedback.
I also updated this addon today & it's not working. I'm going to get v0.75 & install that one.
Edit: just downloaded older version & copied folder in to addons folder & it's working again with my old settings.
I also just installed this addon and it doesnt work. Typed /dkdots and nothing happens even got rid of the variables like stated in other posts and nothing. Great addon when it worked but v0.76 is a waste of time.
just installed. SHows in my addons before entering game. When i get in and type /dkdots nothing. No dot tracker either. Reinstalled many times. Just letting you know.

Could you add an option to disable the target bar, so I only have the focus bar enabled? Thanks
New version should have options to hide target or focus. Not sure how well this version works though, not playing wow anymore and this version was made for the 5.2 ptr.
it shows bars for arena targets too? or just on your target?
