About Druid Friend
This addon is designed specially for the Druid class. It contains a lot of useful functions no matter which spec you are.
It should work with most languages, although translations depend on users providing them (see below).
Here are a few of the functions:
- Notify who is missing Mark of the Wild/Kings/Legacy/Embrace on ready check, entering combat, or leaving combat and when it expires
- Announce spells or whisper the target of a spell for tank cooldowns, Innervate, Thorns, Tranquility, etc.
- Announce when you successfully interrupt
- Announce CC and CC breaks
- Notify you what you dispelled and can announce dispels (very useful in PvP)
- You can choose by spell to output to raid, party, raid warning, say, yell, or disabled and whether whispers are enabled for that spell.
- Display Starfall damage for its duration when it expires
- Display Mangle(Bear) total damage over a Berserk
- Taunt tracker
- Shroom tracker
Absorption Tracker Shows you how much absorption you have on you and how long is left on the current amount. Currently supports:
- Savage Defense
- Power Word: Shield
- Divine Aegis
- Illuminated Healing
Todo/Suggestions so far:
- Not sure if there is anything useful I can total up for cat berserk, but if you have suggestions feel free to leave a comment.
Of course you can choose for yourself which functions you want. It is built on Ace3 for increased efficiency and performance, with low memory footprint.
"/df ui" or "/druidfriend ui" to show the GUI or through the Blizzard AddOn UI Interface->Addons->DruidFriend.
As of release r44 DruidFriend uses libSharedMedia for Fonts and Sounds. Other addons that use libSharedMedia and add fonts and sounds will now be available in DruidFriend. If you would like to add a bunch of new fonts, check out SharedMedia and SharedMediaAdditionalFonts.

If you make changes to the translations, please send me a message as I do not get notified when translations are changed. I do try to check the Activity Log regularly to see if someone has made any changes though.

Now using libSharedMedia for sounds. This gives access to any sounds added by other libSharedMedia addons. I registered the old sounds used with libSharedMedia and the settings should upgrade.

Initial version of Shroom Tracker. A lot of changes to localization phrases, instead of having a localized phrase for each spell, the phrases are generic with %s replaced by the localized spell name.

Now using MapID instead of needing localized names for Wintergrasp/Tol Barad, now the PvP Zone functionality works in any language without translation.

I have an odd request, which I'm not sure is possible. I've been looking everywhere for an addon that would announce when Ursol's Vortex has been successfully placed. I'd use a macro to announce it, but I think all of us out there sometimes cancel our casts and/or button mash, which causes announce macros to get really spammy.
Would it be possible to add Ursol's Vortex to your addon? So that we can announce something like "Ursol's Vortex down!". I think it would also be neat if you included the other talents such as Mass Entanglement, and perhaps everything on the 75 talent tier.
nice addon handy to keep my savage defense up as a tank :) but is it maby poss to adde the frenzied regeneration whit glypth (6 sec 40% more healing on you) so i can track that aswel when my savage defense is on cd?

r23 beta and later includes a self notification for when Glyph of Frenzied Regeneration expires. As Frenzied Regen can be spammed, I do not think an announce to party/raid for it is a good idea.
It seems that it does nothing for catz.
Can you elaborate please? I have been using r14 and r16 on live and raided with it, it is working fine for me.
Make sure to open up the options for the addon ("/df ui" or through the addon menu) and turn on the features you want.
r16 beta is available for MoP.
Added support for MoP and Russian translation. No reason to upgrade if you are still running Cata unless you want Russian, it will just perform slower as there is now conditional code around a bunch of functions that have changed. I will remove the conditional code when MoP goes live.
You do need to check Load out of Date Addons to use this version on MoP, I did not change the ToC so that this version still works on Cata.
One note, currently I have it set for MoP that if you use the options to enable by spec if you have it set to feral, both feral and guardian specs currently match it. When MoP ships I will change the defaults for the tank spec checks to guardian instead of feral and change it so that the feral spec check only matches feral.
