About Elkano's BuffBars

EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

    Sadly that's exactly what I wanted to do as well. There is a mod that does this, but it hasn't been maintained in a year. I haven't been able to find a mod that will manage buffs & debuffs horizontally. =(

    M EBB and quartz are out of date, so naturally i deleted them and then added the latest ones.... which are still coming up out of date.

    Hi,
    Thank you for this addon. I find it very usefull and design.
    I have a problem : I just started WoW again (no will...) and I can do as before.
    I want the DEBUFF bar to be "anchored" to the BUFF bar, just after it. I don't find this option. Now the DEBUFF bar can be moved freely.

    How can I do that ?

    Is it possible to add a spell that EBB doesn't have? Find Weakness from the Rogue Subtlety tree isn't showing up at all. It should be listed under debuffs.

    I haven't bothered testing it much, but it works for me with no LUA errors (that pop up at least). Anchors still appear, just without the annoying bar.

    Removing "Blessing of Demonstration"
    - Delete line #301 :: "table_insert(data, DATA_DEMO)"

    Heyho,
    I wonder if it is possible to filter by remaining time instead of maximal time of a buff. It would be nice, since i dont care about the buff-time of 15 minutes-remaining or longer buffs. But once their duration drops below an encounter-duration i do care. So i can created a buffbar with Long and notimebuffs (without timer) and one with shortbuffs with timer.
    Love this addon :) - thanks for sharing your work.

    I'm using this addon on my shaman, and I'm having one problem. i cant right click the temporary weapon enchants away. I have to show the original buff bar (Blizzard one) to click them away. I've tried using macros to take them off but none work anymore.

    One thing that would allow me to use this addon almost exclusively for timers is the ability to track traps, especially freezing trap: primed and trapped. I find I use another addon that tracks everything this one will but only for the trap feature. Thx. I am trying to hack it myself...

    is there any possibility to add consecration as a buff icon since using Shadowed it removes the default cons tracker icon that is usually below the default portrait

    I've been having some issues with the blizzard buffs showing back up during fights, I've disabled the blizzard buff through /ebb config and it keeps on coming back. Any ideas?

    I'm having a problem that's been frustrating me for a while. I made sure I had the latest version of this addon installed (2.3.1 - r167). Let's say I'm in combat and I pop ice block.. I'm not able to right click the "Iceblock" buff to get rid of it - it forces me to stay in ice block the full duration. Am I doing something wrong or did Blizz change something? Would love to get this working.

    hey elk, how do you re-enable elk minimap button? cause i've looked and i just don't see an option in /ebb config so

    although i do see "show minimap tracking frame" but thats not "display ebb button"

    Had an issue figuring that out too, this will re-enable your minimap button.
