About ElvUI WhisperWarning
Small plugin which adds an option to ElvUI, allowing you to choose a custom sound you want to play when receiving whispers. Sounds distributed through LibSharedMedia will be picked up as an option. Discuss it here: http://www.tukui.org/forums/topic.php?id=19966
To enable / disable it or choose sound go to ElvUI config and choose 'Chat' (/ec -> Chat).

1.3: Official ElvUI engine was updated. Include this change.
1.21: Small cleanup of options table.
1.2: Added a secondary audio file with a higher volume for use with low in-game sound.
1.1: Use the new ElvUI engine added in latest alpha. This version should *only* be used with ElvUI v3.2b-26-g626c637 or later.

Theres no addon like this, just without the additional UI requirement? I dont need an additional UI mod. I just want something that allows me to choose a sound file I have to play when I get a whisper.
I made one a while back and I dont use it anymore but figured I'd upload it in the event it was needed - http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/whisper-notify
All it will do is play a sound when receiving a bnet whisper or normal whisper.
I don't wish to take anything away from Blaze though, he's a valued member over at tukui.org and ElvUI is amazing.
Not to my knowledge.
You should probably look at some chat addons like Prat or Chatter and only use the module that provides this functionality if you're concerned about having too many addons.
