About Engbags
This is the same Engbags you have come to love. I could not just move on to another Inventory Addon, They just do not fit my style and I needed Engbags. I will keep this updated until it requires a rewrite.

EngBags is an AIOI with autosorting fully configurable. It separate your items as you wish between 9 dynamic bars of items. The sorting is made using categories, which you can edit. These categories can do full text search on item tooltips, which mean you can make a category that will include all items wich tooltip contain "Increases damage and healing". With this you can assing that category into bar 3 and you will have all dps equip items in that bar. That's an example, but you can do what you want with this in means of sorting.
EngBags come with predefined categories that will bring you sorting out of the box, at least in english :) It also sort the empty bag slots for diferent bag types.
Also it include the same for the bank part, and offline bank view for your character and your alts.
Yes, it's not ace2, but that's pointless because when you used it, you can't live without it. (Everyone that used it told me the same)
Other features:
Item search by name simultaneously at inventory and bank if it's open.
Hilight items from a bag.
Enable / Disable sorting.

Cleaned up code to remove Lua errors during complete rewrite, Removed category management until new rewrite to reduce memory use but not limit functionality.
Comment on r81024I didn't realize that Requital added me as a Contributor to this project so till now I only upped the new fixes on my own homepage. But here is the new version of the EngBags WotLK fix. I hope there are no more bugs in it and from now on I can start adding new features.

ok i found out my error on the reason why the "B" button wasnt working to close my bags ... i am not sure if when i patched from cata, or any other patch or update for wow, but it was a keybinding issue in where the "B" wasnt cued to close the bag window for engbags ... which btw i have tried other bags when i had issues and still always come back ... but for those with the "B" button issue look in your keybinds for open close or your bag option and make sure its set to "B" ... i would like to know also how to locate or if you can add a save feature for engbags before the next expansion so i can save my data from the engbags folder so i can reload it at mists of pandaria ... i really dont like having to apply and reset all my bags for 8 -9 alts and things ... if youd like to get ahold of me or let me help do better catorgorizing let me know ... i am a curse client active and like testing new things ... i am not much of a coder but i can find or send data ok ... as long as directed and things as to not screw up my data too much ...
Anyone else unable to change the window background color? I ctrl + right click and there's no options there to even change the colors.
In addition, is there a setting I'm missing that's preventing me from having my invintory open/close with a toggle of the key "b"? I press "b" and my invintory opens but pressing it again does not close it.
Currently that functionality is disabled primarily due to the old cold conflicting with new API changes. The addon really needs a complete rewrite but I just haven't had time to get the rewrite going.
I'm still working on the MoP verison but unfortunately my coding is behind due to how old this addon really is. I still plan a complete rewrite for MoP I'm just not sure how soon it will be ready for testing.
The basic plan at this point is to continue making the addon work error free while I work on the new rewrite while I would love to be able to fix some of the small things I just don't have the time to patch this and rewrite it at the same time.
I got it somehow still no clue how but my colums got set to 0 which made it impossible to see so I am greatful I found /ei config to get something associated with inv to open however im glad nothing is wrong with addon dont think i could play wow without it. thanks for all you have done. so glad i can category all things associated with profs/gearsets/ect into their own spot
I have had this addon for years love it. Over that time I have taken advantage of the ability to put things where I want them and had built up an extensive database. However the past few days I noticed the addon fully reset on me and just today my abiliy to see my bags has been gone. I have tried everything I know but nothing is working i can get my bank items to show but still no dice with reg inventory. I can hear it open and it shows the bags highlighted like they are but still nowhere to be found
Still THE best inventory add-on, thanks for making this, can't play without this :)
The out of the box sorting just plain rocks!
Hopefully it can get updated at some point.
With "/eb Config" i can configure the window of the bank (change the collums and the size of the buttons) but not for the bagwindow.
I vve the options for "Window Options", Display Strings & New Item Settings", "Bag Hooks" and "Misc Options"
The last options are "misc Options" with "Build trade skill for export" and Tooltip Mode"
But there i can scroll down more. But there are no more options.
well when i shut down my computer or when its has frozen ... i turn the computer back on and load wow ... i open my bags and all my settings are reset back to if i had never tagged them to my prefference
I have one question, however; I've noticed that I can no longer configure the items in my bank. I am able to control-click and get the options window to pop up, and I can enter EDIT mode, but once I try to reassign, say, a tradeskill item, to, say, #4, where I have tradeskill_1_created, it lets me get all the way to clicking the new location, and that's it. The menu doesn't disappear after the click, the item doesn't get reassigned, and the reassignment doesn't save, even after reloading bags and my UI. This happens across all toons.
One of my other toons, and only one, has a different problem: for whatever reason, the addon no longer searches tooltips to auto-sort items. Ex: all my newly acquired "Quest Item" items for some reason always go into the "Consumable" slot.
Could it be that my saved settings are just too old and have become depreciated?
