About Aubcom's Environment Emotes

Aubcom’s Environment Emotes is an addon originally developed by Adi & Amit Ron (Iseri and Tyari) for the Auberdine Community (Aubcom) of Argent Dawn-EU, but released to the public to benefit roleplayers everywhere.

What It Does

It only re-formats emotes. It neither adds functionality nor lets you do things you otherwise cannot. (Also works with Prat!)

Environmental Emotes

It changes emotes in the format of:
/e || The birds won’t fly tonight.
Into:
The birds won’t fly tonight. (John)
Instead of:
John || The birds won’t fly tonight.

Emotes with a Comma

Since version r2, it also filters out emotes like:
/e , muttering angrily under his breath, walks over to help.
And turns them into:
Rukal, muttering angrily under his breath, walks over to help.
Rather than:
Rukal , muttering angrily under his breath, walks over to help.

Possessive Emotes

In addition, emotes such as:
/e 's nose is far too big for her face.
Will now appear as
Jane’s nose is far too big for her face.
Instead of the usual:
Jane 's nose is far too big for her face.

The lack of the space may be subtle, but great nevertheless.

Changelog

Version r3 November 14th, 2010

Confirmed to work with Patch 4.0.1

Version r2 July 19th, 2010

Added filter for removing space between emoter’s name and emote when text begins with a comma. (”,”)

For example:
/e , with hands tied behind his back, manages to get up.
Would appear as:
John, with hands tied behind his back, manages to get up.
Instead of:
John , with hands tied behind his back, manages to get up.

I have to ask, what key is used for the II? I've tried capital i, lower case L and any other key that looks like it: Which is it?

Also when I changed what colour emotes appeared in, the emotes affected by this addon remained the default and hard-to-see orange.

Apart from that, a subtle yet welcome change.
