About Equipped Item Level

The purpose of this add-on is to help you understand the average item level of what items you have equipped. Since blizzards item level only shows you the average item level of the best equipment you have (bags & equipped).

Places a line below the "Item Level" line of the General stats in the character pane. This line shows the average item level of the equipped items you are wearing. If you are missing an item it is counted against you in the average calculation (i.e. a fury warrior with a 2h Mace but no weapon in the offhand will have a 0 placed for the item level of the offhand and it will be included in the average).

This should match the equipped item level in the armory that you see.

    Mod is no longer needed. Blizzard added equipped item level to the user interface!

    I'd like a fix for this addon. Not only to show my own average item level, but how it was before, showing people ilvl on the tooltip. I have that old version of this addon that still works with this patch and it's very accurate.

    I also miss this addon. I use to mouseover people to see their ilvl more than using it to see what my own ilvl is. Unfortuantely the addon no longer works for mouseovering other players it seems.. would love any update for mop.

    Tiny request: is it possible to make it insert the line immediately before or after the existing Item Level statistic?

    It was, but then blizzard introduced the mount speed stat below it. I honestly just haven't bothered to look into moving it but I will when (if) I have some spare time.

    5 is the location right after Blizzard's item level

    There is no Core.lua in my mod you must be using something else.

    Any chance of adding an itemlvl overlay on the items in the character-pane like this one: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info16380-DaggerlolsItemLevel.html#info.
    Would be smooth to see at a glance what's the worst item u have.

    I'm not really complaining, but you might want to change the name of the addon in the .toc file so that it says "Equipped" instead of "Equiped".

    Thanks for the mod. It's so simple and easy and I love it. Blizz's average ilevel was calculating my pvp epics in the bank so I could not determine my pve tank set easily (without breaking out a calculator). Ty again.

    nice, I was looking for this kind of addon, I haven't tried it yet but can I also see other player's EQUIPPED item level when I mouse over or something??

    No, I limited the functionality of this add-on to just the player (you). It would be fairly easy to add such information to the on mouse over tool-tip but I believe Blizzard limits the amount of times you can query the database for information so it may be limited in that respect.

    There already are Addons such as "Athenes Gear Check" wich show the Equipped Item level of other players via mouseover.

    I personally like your addon here because it's that simple and lightweight. Addons like AGC generate HUGE amounts of Data and sometimes even block the inspect players because of a full query.

    Please do NOT implement such a "functionality" to your addon!
