About ErrorFilter
Are you fed up with the silly errors that spam your screen? Want to get rid of "Not enough rage" or "Not enough energy"? Then you have come to the right place. ErrorFilter manages the errors that are displayed in the blizzard UIErrorsFrame. It can be set to hide the ErrorFrame completely, drop all errors or filter the messages and discard those selected.
Slash Commands
Use "/erf" or "/ErrorFilter" to open the options menu.
Here you can select the operation mode and change the errors that are filtered.

Any 5.2 update in the works?
This far I didn't run into any problems after the 5.2 patch. I'll probably just bump the version today or tomorrow so it won't show as out of date.

I am having a problem, each time i relogin/restart wow , I have to apply the addon again since it all resets
As in I have to choose for it to filter only or show only etc, any change here will make the addon w orking again till i relog again.. please help. it keeps reseting.
Did you try to reset all settings by removing the config file? \World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<Account Name>>\SavedVariables\ErrorFilter.lua
Okay so I made sure permissions were there, .lua file modifies but .lua.bak does.
Disabled all other addons and it works fine... seems another addon is causing a problem. Will try find out which one it is.
EDIT: LUI core is causing the problem. If your able to try recreat the problem and see whats wrong , would be much appreciated .
LUI has its own error filter but this gets rid of all errors, including facing wrong way+out of range etc which I want to keep. Lui options-general-settings
EDIT: So it turns out turning on the lui option to hide blizzard errors entirely, then disabling it , stopped error filter reseting. All is working fine now. thanks for taking the time to help.
I could not reproduce the bug, with my old install or with a fresh one. Since you are the only one complaining about it, my guess is you have some specific problems to your computer. Maybe the game has some permision issues when trying ot write the config file? Check it was modified after you exit game.
Any possible fix for this ? still having the problem, tried reinstalling multiple times.
Tried that, doesnt work either.
am I supposed to delete the lua+ the .bak one too ?
Edit: tried that and even tried a fresh reinstall of addon.
Settings still reset each time i login,. I use operation mode allow only, so I have to change to filter only then back to allow only , to make it filter once again.

ok you have to go into the interface menu and set it to do what you want. why aren't errors filtered by default. that is just confusing.
Any way to have this post an error once, but keep it from spamming, so I can at least see what the rror is, rather than it blocking all of them? Trying to find a replacement for ErrorMonster. Thanks!

don't want to mess around with the code everytime you gonna be updating
