About Factionizer

Factionizer



Features

This addon displays how many reputation points are missing to the next reputation level in your reputation window. In addition, it extends the reputation detail window by showing how many points you need for your next reputation level and how you can best gain this reputation. It also shows how much reputation you can gain by handing in completed repeatable/daily quests and gathering quests.

I'm sometimes low on time so i've been looking for some helping Hands:

  • add item tooltips to show what they can be used for [low prio]
  • add about, history, todo frames [low prio]
  • add limit numbers for factions that are capped below the next rep level

    Dear Factionizer users, for private reasons (I need to spend considerably more time with my family), I have cancelled my WoW subscription. Unfortunately, this also means I won't be able to maintain this addon for the time being.

    If anyone is interested in taking it over, please send me a personal message on Curse, I would hate to see this addon to be discontinued.

    You fixed the Guild Perk and Human bonus regarding to the Guild Reputation, but not to other reputations. Also, is there a way to show the fraction in the tool tip? For instance Steamwheedle gives 5 for the main Gobbo rep, and 2.5 for the others, but only says 2 on the screen.

    The calculation used for bonus rep is the same for guild rep and other factions. The reason it only says 2 is because I'm rounding down to the next integer. Take a faction where something yields 150 rep, you should see that it lists 165 with human bonus.

    Ogri'la shows no information for dailies. There are four dailies once you are at Revered. Banish More Demons, Bomb Them again, Wrangle More Aether Rays, and The Relic's Emanation. For those with the reputation buff from Guild Level (10%) it ends up being 1705 reputation.

    I can't reproduce your problem, all my characters that know Ogri'la as a faction see those quests. What language client are you playing on? English, German or another?

    English client. I haven't checked on other characters. I ran the dailies for well over 20 days and I never saw the quests. No worries now though, I am Exalted. If I figure out what might have caused the problem I'll let you know.

    Looks like the guild rep count isn't reflecting the current cap that the guild page shows, also, the Factionizer bar gets added on top of the blizzard bar that shows what the weekly cap is.

    Blizzard does not take into account the guild perk and/or human racial bonus in their cap. Factionizer does, and hence shows the actual rep earned. That is why the numbers differ.

    The positioning of the rep indicators is intended.

    Just FYI, the guild rep cap has been increased with 4.2, so the Factionizer cap shown is indeed inaccurate right now. Mine's showing as 4375 cap in the Blizzard tooltip, if that's any help (I have 5% guildperk if they count that, if not, discount it!)

    I know, they increased the cap. And I patched it on my machine but am not quite ready to deploy the new version (it will be Real Soon (tm)). When replying to the OP I totally forgot, that my version is not what everyone else has :-)
