For some reason the Watcher text isn't showing. It showed the first time I used FB, but hasn't since. I double checked to make sure that I have it turned on in the options. I reloaded my UI.
FB will not apply worm supremes, or any other lures if i have the Savage fishing pole equipped and it is on CD. It will only use the pole. Any thoughts?
Sut - did you say you have a fix on the way for the helm/back settings?
FB iz da fishin bomb mon!
- Any chance of adding a search field / filter to the fish tracker database?
- Also how does the max req fishing lvl function in Dreanor? FB says 950 max for the areas but I still fish fine with 600 @ 50% ish (small, normal and occasional enormous).
EDIT:
A small issue. If I have a newly- fished rod in my bags (placed in any row above my main rod), FB will just swap to that rod instead of the main one.
Hey. I just thought you'd like to see a discussion we've been having on warcraftpets.com. Fishing Buddy was instrumental in logging my catches, so it's been integral to the subject.

Thanks! If there are things it can do better, please let me know!
Need an option to let us set which bait to use for a specific zone, mostly for the Garrisons as all Enormous fish can be caught from those waters.
Will do! I am in the process of working on UI for that.
Since in Draenor, you never catch trash, but your Fishing skill affects what size fish you catch, can you add something to easy lures that uses the best lure based on Fishing skill when in Draenor?
Also, I have the Weather-Beaten Fishing Hat, which adds 75 Fishing skill, but I also have a lot of Sharpened Fish Hooks, which add 100. When I'm in a zone where I need a boost, FB always uses the hat, when a fish hook would be better. Can you fix that?
Finally, I have the Tiny Goldfish and Fishy, but I only ever see the Tiny Goldfish summoned. Is Fishy not on the list? If not, could he be added?
Thanks very much for a great addon, one of my favorites.
I'm getting weird reports for lures, I am looking into it.
I will check to see if Fishy is on the guest list :-)
The coastal waters around Stormshield are a good place to fish for Sea Scorpion while in the queue for Ashran. Could this area (and the Horde equivalent) be added to the "use Sea Scorpion bait" areas, please.
Will do -- I haven't fished there yet :-)
I have a suggestion, when in Draenor zones, can you add to the watcher "Quest completed:" line FB's guess of what bait it would like to use. I can then decide if I think I'm smarter that FB before I "waste" bait.
Excellnet idea! I will add a line with the auto-selected bait.
Hey it's me again... sorry (lol).
Is there a way to run a script in the addon that will only use Rumsey's if the buff is not active?
Otherwise it's using it every time I cast. And this will run through the lager very fast (and exhust my supply), and make my screen blurry. You lose time fishing if you're channeling VOMIT! :P

...
P.S. FB isn't appying Draenor Bait. So I have to use a macro that has a /use ...Bait line for each bait.
Perhaps FB does use the bait if you use the double-right-click method. But it doesn't apply bait if you use the macro generated from "Create Macro." Maybe in a future update the macro would also trigger Draenor Bait, and apply all other FB functions? I prefer using a separate macro over double clicking, simply because I don't like double clicking if I can single click, which any macro allows me to do.
