    • With ding fish on, "Work Complete" sound plays when you get five lunkers

I'm having issues testing the Watch Bobber option -- if I don't have it enabled, I pretty much miss all the loot. Not sure if it's my network or my computer yet...

  • #3026

FB won't double-click cast when set to "none" :( I have no pole equipped so maybe that's why? Is this intentional?

  • #3029

If you have "right click" as your casting button, then "None" disables "no pole" fishing -- there isn't any way to tell if you wanted to fish or interact with the game. Therefore you can only fish without a pole if you have a modifier key to go with it.

If you have bound "interact" to some other button, hmm. I will have to see what I can do to generalize that.

  • #3027

It works with pole for sure, so buy one and check, if it doesn't still it means you're doing something wrong.

I think I have found this one and fixed it -- let me know if it still happen in 1.5.2

  • #3020

Locks up the entire game when viewing the first tab in options. Reloaded UI first and same result. Locks up meaning the entire game is unresponsive for at least 30 seconds. I'm on a Mac so I'm used to stuff not being optimized for it, just thought you should know :)

  • #3021

That's weird -- I develop FB on a Mac :-) I will see if I can figure out what's going on.

  • #3024

Yes, please! I having issues recreating it :-(

Thanks, yes I have the same issue but not just with the first tab.

Have loved FB for years, thank you!

  • #3022

Awesome! Yeah just thought was odd because other than I just started using your addon (heard about it for years..) and it's saved me a ton of trouble equipping and casting and counting and all that good stuff. Excited to see iteration and new features for sure. I'll keep an eye on this thread and the Changelog.

I'm still using the addon in the meantime, just not going to that particular tab, so we're golden for the most part, again, great addon, great for the community. Cheers!

EDITED: do you want me to record my findings in a ticket on curseforge? let me know

The counter of the "Speckled Tastyfish" doesn't work anymore. The Timer stucks by 0:00 and it doesn't count the fish in the inventory.

I use the german client, arkinventory as bag addon.

  • #3017

I figured out an addon that conflicts with Fishing Buddy. It's called IceTip and it's a tooltip addon. It's possible that other tooltip addons could cause the same issue. TipTac does not seem to have this problem.

If you have IceTip addon installed, Fishing buddy will not cast using the double-click right mouse button unless you use a modifier.

I thought this might help others.

I've read that "Fragrant" Pheromone Fish can be applied to a bodyguard for the same effect. I haven't personally tested this (been fishing pools only since I got my first bodyguard).

  • #3019

Confimed. Yes, you can put the Pheromone Fish on your bodyguard.
