About Fishing Buddy

Fishing Buddy
-------------

A fishing addon that keeps track of the fish you catch and helps manage your fishing gear.

Features:
- Double-click fishing
- Supports the new WoW "fish without a pole" feature
- Bring out your fishing pets! Drink heavily!
- 'Fish Watcher' lets you see the fish you've caught here before (or the fish that you've caught in the current session)
- Display your current skill level and the time since you started fishing
- Choose your fishing outfit and change into it easily
- Support for automatically adding a lure to your fishing pole
- Support for tracking 'cycle fish' such as the Nightfin Snapper so you know when to go looking for them

Example commands:
/fishingbuddy or /fb
toggle the display of the Fishing Buddy window
/fb help
print the list of Fishing Buddy commands
/fb switch
wear your chosen fishing outfit, or change back

Silly stuff:
In addition to displaying the fishing bonus for your fishing outfit, it also displays your 'style points' as inferred from Draznar's Fishing FAQ (http://wow.toshimo.com/viewtopic.php?t=272).

Installation
------------

1. Unzip the 'FishingBuddyVERSION.zip' file
2. If your unzip program allows you to specify a location, then unzip it into the 'Interface/AddOns' folder contained in your WoW folder (the location that WoW was installed)
3. If your unzip program doesn't let you specify the destination, then find your WoW folder (where it was installed) and drag the 'FishingBuddy' folder into the 'Interface/AddOns' folder.

    So you got fishing buddy 1.0.8 Beta 2 working but then on release 1.0.8 easy casting is not working at all, I see you just posted a 1.0.8 a is this to adress that issue?

    nm Just tried 1.0.8 a No Easy Cast in that one either. 

    Wish I could help somehow

    Working in SW not northrend though I wil double check now in northrend area, I tried /reload etc last time... Lets hope it is working in NR now too

    1.0.8(a) and the Beta are identical as far as casting goes (1.0.8a has a fix for the watcher window when you leave it open all the time).

    What other addons are you using? PM me a list and I'll see what I can figure out.

    Also, double-check that "Easy Cast" is checked (it should default to on now, but it's worth checking).

    Sometimes I think Blizz does not reliably load addons, and that there are significant differences between "first time" loading and a /reload ui. I've even had bugs appear and disappear depending on changing the comments in a file and doing a reload.

    Seems to be working fine now, musta just been a hitch in my giddy-up. I reinstalled always making sure easy cast was checked and there was no modifier. Even did a /reload and /reload ui incase they are different. would not work for the life of me this morn. Working great now. Thanks

    Randomly stops working again. Now it makes no sense. 100% random and /reload wont allways work.

    Easy cast is working at first, but then stops working...I've uninstalled and reinstalled it three times now...the latest version.  Same thing keeps happening.  It's good through 60 casts or so for me.

    Hmm. I check for "in combat" before I call hide, I will recheck all of the code paths again (I'm not sure what causes this).

    Edit: I think the new Beta version will fix this, BTW.
