About FloTotemBar

Add button bars for quick access to totem spells for the Shaman and to trap spells for the Hunter.

There is one bar per totem elements and one for trap spells. Obviously, only the concerned classes see the appropriated bars ;-)

There is now also an additionnal bar for some totem related spells.

Spells are added to the bars automatically when you learn spells.

Each bar has a timer to track the remaining life time of the last casted totem/trap.

You can use the context menu to change many settings.

Dual spec is managed automatically. When the second spec is activated for the first time, the settings are duplicated. Then, all changes made to the configuration are only done to the current spec, and the inactive spec is untouched.

    Any chance u can help hunters too, cuz it dissappears for me too if I change spec on my hunter, even tho it got no new spells to add...

    And Floraline if u actually read this post, we could use an upgrade soon :D

    I love this mod but its such a shame that many bugs still go unfixed, like the solution xnixbla made in the comments a few weeks ago or the fact that if you have dual spec elemental/resto your totem bars get confused until a /rl.

    Maybe one day someone will take over and fix everything, or even better the original creator will come back!

    I hover my mouse over a totem spell, but the little circles don't come up for the different calls. Is this a bug, or is there more?
  • #384
    Suggestion with new version if ever made... disable the mini totem bar. I don't need it and it gets in my way a lot!!
  • #394
    I love the minibar. I use it every fight. Thanks, Floraline for this add-on!

    Does this work with Bartender?
  • #386
    yes it seems to work fine for me with bartender

    great mod, but I honestly liked the way it was before 3.2

    Is there a way to go in and have 2 separate versions of the same mod installed at once, and just have them enabled on different characters?
  • #380
    is it possible to add the possibility to choose NONE totem for 1 type of magic school ? if perhaps you just want to drop just 2 or 3 totems and not 4 ? to avoid mana waste.

    Ty in advance and good job btw.
  • #381
    you can
    use +click on one of the circles to unselect it.
    if none of the totems in a certain school are selected you will not place any of them

    Found a solution (more an ugly hack) for the scaling/positioning.

    It seems that the FloTotemBar_SetScale function is called during startup before the totem bars are visible.

    If you move the line v:SetScale(scale); (line 614) before the if (so that the visible condition doesn't apply) it works for me.

    Here the updated version of the FloTotemBar_SetScale function, just replace the whole functions (line 600-622 in FloTotemBar.lua) with the updated one:

    function FloTotemBar_SetScale(scale)

    scale = tonumber(scale);
    if not scale or scale
    0 ("..scale..")" );

    ACTIVE_OPTIONS.scale = scale;

    for i, v in ipairs({FloBarTRAP, FloBarCALL, FloBarEARTH, FloBarFIRE, FloBarWATER, FloBarAIR}) do
    if v:IsVisible() then
    local p, a, rp, ox, oy = v:GetPoint();
    local os = v:GetScale();
    if a == nil or a == UIParent or a == MainMenuBar then
    v:SetPoint(p, a, rp, ox*os/scale, oy*os/scale);

    Big thnx !
    This is work fine to me.
  • #378
    Perfect! This worked a treat!
  • #377
    Thank you friend, if I could find you, I would give you a massive hug and a load of gold :)
  • #374
    so no word on when the fix for the scaling error will be fixed? Its getting annoying having to reset the position of my bars everytime I log in or change specs. I've loved this mod ever since Call of Elements went broken so many patches ago. I would love to see it back in proper working order.
