About Friend XP Bar

Shows the XP of any friend in your group who is also using FriendXP. This allows people who play togeather to see each others XP when leveling without having to ask every ten minutes "how far to go?".

It installs a LDB component which is shown to the user. To get it to work enable the LDB in your toolbar of choice (Such as TitanBar) it should be called "Friend XP"

    Actually, with it now being in TitanPanel, my friends and I would like to know if it can be made to display a particular friends XP on the bar and show all on rollover, instead of only being able to show your own on on the bar. We're using an old version atm because the rollover is to much out of the way :p

    Hey,

    Just some updates, the addon now works with anyone in your party who has it installed, it doesn't need to be configured.

    It now only works with LDB (Titan Panel, Fubar (with LDB PLugin) etc etc)

    Hey,

    I'm in the process of converting this addon to a Broker plugin, so you can use it on titan bar or any other bar that supports broker (ie Fubar with the Broker2Fu plugin).

    This will also mean you don't need to manually specify a target as it will show the XP of anyone in the group who is using it.

    Knoxontholos :- The app simply queries your XP each time a XP increase event is triggered, and then sends it via a addon channel to anyone in your party.

    Alrighty, got a question. A friend and I were wondering how it goes about getting the information? Its accurate, which we like, but we were curious :3. Also, in a future release, can you add in a command to reset the bars position on the screen? My friend accidentally drug his off screen and had to reset the addon by re-installing it. And can you possibly add the /fxp commands as buttons in the interface menu for fxp bar?

    I'm afraid it can only work in groups. The WoW interface doesn't really allow proper communication between non grouped users. It could be modified to do it using guilds however this would cause a lot of "chatter" and would be considered bad.

    Any chance of a feature for it to auto-update every so many minutes? My friend and I want to use it, but having to type in /fxp update is very annoying :/

    Nvm, got it auto-updating. But every now and again it will display, "Sorry, no data to collect." until my friend and I get in a group.
