About GatherMate

Collects Herbs, Mines, Gas Clouds and Fishing locations and adds them to the worldmap and minimap.

Please note this has been replaced with GatherMate2 for WoW 4.0

Added a compat filter for GatherMAte so it loads in 4.0 as not working and tells the user to upgrade. Done so that the GM2 convertor can load the DB and convrt the nodes.

    I made the mistake of downloading this two days ago and what do you know my account was hacked that night. Thankfully it was on my work computer and not my home so I was able to get my account up and running the next day. It must have a keylogger bundled in the install. By using the curse(d) client none of my virus protection picked it up. I use SEP 11.x with network threatprotection and Windows Defender.

    you're making no sense.
    all addons are loaded after the wow login so dont blame the addons

    I'm having an issue with Gathermate2 and SexyMap. It used to show old nodes on the hud map when I would bring it up but now I only see nodes when they are up and I can't see any of the icons of successful nodes.

    What is the difference now between Gathermate v1.25 (updated on 11/10/2010) and Gathermate2 1.0.3 which was released a couple weeks ago....

    If you install GatherMate v1.25 it will just tell you to switch to GatherMate2! Looking at the changelog for GatherMate v1.25 shows:

    Gee. GatherMate2 is not a trojan or anything else malicious.

    Those comments saying anything about such a thing were replies to trojan spam comments that have already been removed, which displaces those replies and makes them look like they would relate to *existing* comments, but they do *not*. (I have no idea why orphan comments wouldn't automatically get deleted along with their parent comment, but it's a flaw.)

    Those asking for an update to this one, please start reading the description of the add-ons you use. There's a link to GatherMate2 which thereby states that it's a continuation of GatherMate, thus being a replacement for it. So, you'll probably have to get GatherMate2 sooner or later anyway.

    GatherMate is excellent addon,never go with out it.It helps to track the mines and every thing on the small world map,except i haven't done the Gas Clouds and Fishing and it still works well with the GatherMate version,great addon.Although when i do collect mines and treasure,it doesn't put a mark on it,it depends how close it is to the next,although it does show up on the area where its been marked.I don't use GatherMate2 as the GatherMate still works well.Thank you.Also,what is this Trojan addon thing i been hearing about?If you wright it down,then we will know not to go there,we don't like hackers,key loggers as you don't like it either,i appreciate it.Thanks again.I assume its the,

    Having the same issue as mstieler. I'm guessing it has something to do with being able to track more than one thing at a time now. I would like to request a save per character option in the case that this issue can't be fixed.

    I'll post this here and on the Wowace side:

    I'm having issues getting the "Track with Profession" to work. I've got and engineer, miner & herbalist, as well as a fisher, and I cant get "Track with Profession" or "Only While Tracking" to work for Gas Clouds, Fish, Herbs, or Minerals, and the Treasure racial has gone away.

    This had all worked quite well, up until 4.0.1, so I'm guessing some bit of the patch broke this/these bits of code?

    Hopefully you'll either be able to fix this, or set Gathermate settings to character-specific ones, so I could just leave Minerals up always on my Miner, Herbs on the Herbalist, etc.
