About GatherMate2_Data

Data extract for GatherMate2. Use GatherMate_Data for the original GatherMate. This version is include data for cataclsym ,as extrernal sites begin migrating their data.

How to install the data:

  • 1.) install GatherMate2_Data
  • 2.) Once in game, open gathermate (/gathermate)
  • 3.) Select the Import section
  • 4.) select the data you want and click import.
  • 5.) Profit

    I just loaded this addon along with gathermate2, it doesn't work. my addon control panel says gathermate2_data is missing a dependancy, if anyone could help me I'd appreciate it.

    Is there any way to make the icons slightly smaller than the gold dot which appears when there actually is something to mine, for example? That way I can see where they are expected to be, fly towards them, and then see the gold dot. This saves me from having to look and see if I can find something which may not actually be there to find!

    Should i import the database every time GatherMate2_Data is updated or is this done automatically by GatherMate2?

    If you're like me and you're having a problem getting the data imported here is what I was doing wrong wrong. Once you select what data to import SCROLL DOWN and select Import Gathermate. I was selecting the okay button at the bottom of the screen which doesn't cause the data to be imported...

    The Curse category for this addon is Achievements. Shouldn't it be something else?

    I can't be sure this was a result of downloading Gathermate2 and the Data pack for it but just a heads up... I was hacked hours after downloading these two addons. I'm deleting them now just to be safe.

    Yeah, no offense mate but you obviously have no idea how addons work.
    It's simply _NOT POSSIBLE_ for an addon to give you a virus or comprimise your account, unless it contains some sort of executable file (exe, bin) that they trick you into running. Anything installed with the curse client is safe.

    That said, get an authenticator. Blizzard even has an authenticator app for apple/android phones if you don't want to buy the keychain. It's free!

    LUA scripts canot install keyloggers. Also, authenticators should be mandatory by now, don't you think?

    Your account was compromised weeks, if not even months ago, and to hide the source of the information they didn't hack you until now. If you use the stolen account details right away, odds are that the victim has a good idea who stole it, like you just thought you did.

    Authenticators mandatory? Well, I would really love to use an authenticator to make my account even safer, but as you can only get one in the Blizzard Shop using a credit card (which I don't have) this great option is simply not available to me. Way to go, Blizz :P

    The Dial-In Authenticator is absolutely free and doesn't require anything but the ability to make toll-free calls from a phone. If you live in the US, there is no excuse anymore for having an unsecured account.

    That database needs to go in to your specific account folder, not the normal addons folder.
    ie. /WTF/Account/accntname/realm/character/SavedVariables

    They weren't showing up on mine until I put GatherMate2.lua file in that particular folder.

    And btw, if you have over-written the GatherMate2.lua file in the normal /Interface/AddOns/GatherMate2 folder, then re-install the addon so that it puts the original GatherMate2.lua back in there.

    Totally wrong! The "GatherMate2_Data" folder (and the files it contains) go into your main "World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns" folder, just like any other addon!

    there are no files to add Jinx77743. Install this addon, then in gathermate use the import option to load the data.
