About GatherMate

Collects Herbs, Mines, Gas Clouds and Fishing locations and adds them to the worldmap and minimap.

Please note this has been replaced with GatherMate2 for Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria.

Added a compat filter for GatherMAte so it loads in 4.0 as not working and tells the user to upgrade. Done so that the GM2 convertor can load the DB and convrt the nodes.

    I'll post this here and on the Wowace side:

    I'm having issues getting the "Track with Profession" to work. I've got and engineer, miner & herbalist, as well as a fisher, and I cant get "Track with Profession" or "Only While Tracking" to work for Gas Clouds, Fish, Herbs, or Minerals, and the Treasure racial has gone away.

    This had all worked quite well, up until 4.0.1, so I'm guessing some bit of the patch broke this/these bits of code?

    Hopefully you'll either be able to fix this, or set Gathermate settings to character-specific ones, so I could just leave Minerals up always on my Miner, Herbs on the Herbalist, etc.

    This isn't a virus. It is an functionable addon, and it works, not like the normal gathermate...

    I have a question about icon size. it's rather odd, but on one server the icon size on maps is huge vs the other, and as far as I can tell they both have the same size setting... any ideas what could be effecting it? I looked over other mods but didn't see any that seemed like they could effect the maps in any way. (guess I need to do further testing)

    I tried downloading Gatherer, but could not get it to work on my Mac. Downloaded this one, and it is working great. Thanks! It's just what I wanted for leveling my gatherers :)

    Hi there
    Gathermate does not show for me the nodes i got when i'm fishing. Gathermate options are currently by default, it most show nodes if i have the profession, but it does not do it. Any change in options does not cause any effect on it. The addon does not report any bug so nothing to report here. Gathermate is installed whithout any extra-modul. What happened...?
    Feature request: The only thing i miss in this addon is the possibility to updated with my nodes, the database of another user using gathermate and vicervese. Can you implement this feature?.
    Excuse my english please...

    I've been using this addon for a few months and it's great. However, I'm curious if I should keep this activated on 'non-gatherers' to collect herbs/mine ore locations or if that information can only be gathered by herbalists or miners. Can you update your description to clarify this?
