from Grid r1559 changelog: - Added a 40-player raid layout since GetInstanceInfo() can now identify such instances

This addon might possibly need to be updated to support that? (did not log in and test yet :)

having some issues with this in battlegrounds lately.  sometimes in any bg it will only show the group i'm in, and size itself to 1 group (plus 2nd column for pets).  other times i'll get into a wsg or ab or something other than 40 man and it will size to 40man and never change, even if i reload ui.

is there a command for me to use that will tell gfas to re-scan the raid or identify the bg and resize itself appropriately?  thanks!

Would it be possible to config this addon so it only shows Grid in 40-man Battlegrounds and not in 10/15 man bg's? I tried setting the prefab size for 10/15-man BG instances to 0, but that didn't work. (in the GridAutoFrameSize.lua file)
I use Pitbull unitframes for the 10/15 man raids/bg's, but for the 25/40 man things i use Grid, takes less space etc. For PVE stuff it is easy to config this, but for BG's Grid only has 1 checkbox. Hence i have the problem that in 10/10 man BG's i have both Pitbull ánd Grid showing up.
I was hoping this addon could be the solution to that, maybe you can tell my how to config it so things work..?

I am having the same issue as sailorami14. Every time I enter arena with a hunter, I have to uncheck and then recheck "always use pet layouts" in order to see his pet.

I'm having issues with pets not always showing in 10 mans. Once the raid size increases to 10+ or I go into the /grid menu and check and uncheck it again it fixes itself.

Always use pet layouts IS checked.

    Just saw this again.

Joined a group, it got converted to a raid and people began to be moved around groups. Grid did not resize to show me those groups until I opened the config menu and unchecked and rechecked "Always use pet layouts". What I was talking about in my first comment was when the raid physically got to 11+ members it would auto fix itself.

I relogged and when I came back in it was still only showing 10 man size. Unchecked and rechecked and "Always use pet layouts" and it fixed.

It seems like it's defaulting to Grid's default layout settings which were the pre-defined "10-man" and all without pets. Isn't the idea of this overwrite them? (I seem to remember having this problem in the past and changing the layout sizes all to 25w/pets seemed to fix it, but I'm still confused as to why it does this.)

    Hi, I'll look into it.

OK, I have a question. I am trying to get my grid to no matter what type of raid whether it be a 5 man party or a 40 man raid to stay the same size and adjust the button size. I want the frame itself to stay a particular size while the unit frames within adjust to either larger in a 5 man to much smaller in a 40 man raid. This way I can set up my ui around it. I hope someone can help with this!

This would be a question for Grids author, because it doesn't really have to do with this addon. This addon is supposed to switch between sizes, not to disable it :) But try setting all layouts in Grid config to 40men and it should never change.

The options is part of Grid configuration dialog. So with '/grid' you'll have GridAutoFrameSize tab in the dialog.
