About GridStatusAbsorbsMonitor

Discontinued, see AbsorbsMonitor for details

This addon requires Grid to be installed and active.

Adds the values tracked by the AbsorbsMonitor library as a status module to Grid. Since AbsorbsMonitor was converted to a library, this addon now works standalone (with Grid of course), you no longer need to install any dependencies manually.

    This is a great addon. The only issue I have is the alpha for the absorb amount is quite low when used with the Grid Text plugins. It doesn't seem to be adjustable anywhere. Aside from that, it's a great addition to grid. Thank you.

    Actually I don't touch the alpha, I just write it with a full value of 1.0 to the Grid status. I'm not sure what you mean with Grid Text plugins though?

    I use Grid Indicator Corner Text, and Grid Indicator Side Text for Grid. When I selected Absorbs Monitor to display in Side Text Top the Alpha was was lower than my Sacred Shield and Beacon display. When we opened the Lua file we found an alpha set to .50. We simply changed the alpha from .5 to 1 in the GridStatusAbsorbsMonitor LUA file and problem solved.

    If you write as 1.0 then perhaps some of my previous settings changed it to .50. Not sure really but it was a simple fix. This really is a great mod. Thanks again!

    Yes, you're right. I actually screwed up the Grid config a bit there. It's fixed now in v1.5. The default alpha is still set to 0.5 (looks better when used as Center Text 2), but it will obey whatever you set it to in Grid config.
